I know.

How do we win away at Watford, Charlton, Sheffield Utd, Bristol City and Leicester then lose to Preston, Scunthorpe (!!!!) Coventry etc

FT 1-1 Halmosi with a freaky freekick scored Argyle's goal, in 2nd min. Argyle did not play well and Sheff. Wed should havescored 3-4 or more, but scored with a spectacular long-range strike with about 10 mins to go.
Argyle move up to 10th but that almost ends any hope of promotion.

sounds like to me that Argyle is shopping for foreign investors.... the days of the little club by the sea may be numbered... meaning.... big investors, means big dollars, means big improvements to home park and the club... OR worse...

We now have a Japanese investor who has bought 20% of the club..Sushi and pasty for the next home game

Cheers Ken..It is part of his Uni course..He had a lot of articles in our regional newspapers recently as well as 4/5 pieces on the main Argyle web site so he is doing well..He is just working on an interview with Luke Summerfield at the moment (he played with Luke in the youth team for a few seasons) and if he is lucky he may get it published. Will keep you posted..

So will we make the play offs? I think we have blown our chance but we are punching above our weight in truth..Great to see Leicester in the bottom three and the possibility of Kevin Blackwell taking over from Ian Hollowords at the end of the season.

2-0 lead at home... and we end up tying... and they score in the 94th min... are you kidding me? 4 min of stoppage time... for christ sake, we cannot buy a break... and what the hell, giving up a goal in the 94th min?

the rest of this season is screwed.. that was a must win... i guess all we can root for now is Ollie's problem at Leicester City

WOW!!!! no new contract for Paul Wotton????? holy crap!!!

Sad news - he was definitely my favorite player. And he seemed to be the heart and soul of the team.

I wonder if her will sign with a CCC1 team or will another CCC team sign him. will have to be odd for Plymouth fans to see Wotton in another uniform.

Phil... Seve going to get an interview with Wotton?

could this be good or bad? is the new infusion of Japanese money be setting our sights on bigger and better players?

Wotton was good when we were in lower leagues but in truth was out of his depths for a team pushing for the Premiership.Played with his heart and a fierce right foot and very little else.Shame Connolly is leaving on a free.He was worth a few pounds but I believe his wife wants to live near London so he is off. When Sturrock came the first time he cleared out a lot of favourites and we were all appalled but look what happened after that..

Japanese infusion of money at home park on the horizon...

re: Wotton... will he play anywhere else, or will he go the way David Frio did and hook up with a lower level club and just collect the pay check?

good article by Seve, but Summerfield got released didnt he?

This stinks! I was all ready to listen to the Plymouth game, my last one since I have plans next Sunday, and instead the streaming is of a rugby game.

On the plus side, Blackpool is streaming and Plymouth scored early on and is up 1-0 about five minutes in. :D

Good win in the last home game of 2007-08, 3-0 over Blackpool.

By the way, Plymouth did finally get their audio stream going.

Anybody who wants a detailed written play-by-play, check out this thread in the Blackpool area of Big Soccer: http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=14468447#post14468447

good win for us... but a little too late for our playoff hopes.... dropped too many points to teams well below us.

wholesale changes coming in the off season i think..

OG... you still around?
