Great win today, patched up team 6 changes in the lineup, with a goalie who was only going to play one game.

Lovingthegreen the only place to get audio of the games is to sign up for Argyle World, it costs about $80.00 per year, this will give you all the video features, highlights etc. plus commentary of Argyles and most other games in the football league.

Great win for us... amazing how we can lose to the 2nd from bottom dwellers, but take 3 points from league leaders.

That's what I do, although I get the audio-only option, which I believe cost me about $50. I have tried out the video highlights, etc., but it just wasn't worth the extra cost to me, but I really do like having the ability to listen to so many different games (essentially every team in the Football League and a good number from the EPL and the SPL are included in the subscription). But, to be honest, almost the only times I ever use it is to listen to Plymouth Argyle games. I usually catch about one out of every three or four games and have been following PAFC off and on for the past few years.

Now it probably is not financially viable for the club or for the Football League, but it would be awesome if there was a way to get live video streaming of all the Plymouth games (or at least get the entire games, not just extended highlights, available on a tape basis via the website). That is one thing that both Celtic (live) and PSG (taped) offer that was a huge drawing card for me when I was deciding which teams to follow. It's not that I have a need to follow "big" clubs; I just want to be able to watch the games.

You can buy DVD's of each game, but it would get expensive, it's 6 pounds per game. http://www.argylesuperstore.co.uk/prods/398/

Wow that would cost about $550 for the 42 league games.

Good news Russell Anderson stays for the rest of the season.

1-1 tie vs Watford... well, its better than i was expecting actually... we are still in a playoff position, albeit, only by goal differential...

BUT.... we are still in the playoff push...

again we are plagued by a quick goal immediately after a strike of our own.. so frustrating... we also played the the last 22+ minutes a man down. so looking at it from that perspective, thats a well won point....

Well Done Argyle

anyone know if that player from Watford that was going to be sent back to his home country did anything at Home Park to thank the Plymouth fans for their support?

There was a piece in the local paper here where he thanked the Argyle fans but didn't see anything at the match.

kinda a dead thread lately... but i guess it would be with no major signings...

a game vs one of the lower teams this sat... we definately need 3 points to continue our playoff push...

im predicting in our final 6 games we go 2W 3T 1L will that be enough to hold on to 6th? not sure.

are you effing kidding me? 3-1 Loss... might as well have been 3-0 as we scored in the 86' for a "who cares" goal....

Playoffs are slipping away! :(

Tough loss for PAFC today (2-1). Especially considering Charlton had a red card within the first five minutes. Personally, two of the teams I follow each lost despite having a man advantage at home for much of the game (Celtic lost to Motherwell 1-0 after being one-up for most of the second half).

Well, the playoffs are falling further and further away. :( After winning four straight to finish February, Plymouth has gone 2-5-1 (W-L-D). Still a very good season overall (best in club history?), but disappointing when the playoffs looked so close. Not over yet, but it looks like another four-match winning streak will be needed to reach them.

thats utter crap... we lose to a 10 man side, 2-1 and we score FIRST!!! at HOME!!! are you kidding me...

i have officially got OFF the playoff band wagon... dont think its going to happen now... that is a crap result... even Leicester City losing does not take the edge off this one....

seriously, there is no excuse for losing to a 10 man side when youre up 1-0... i think they scored 5 min after we did... thats bullsh!t!!!

colored me pissed off!

Dead Thread again.. maybe everyone is still as pissed off as me at our recent run of results..

we had better get a win this weekend... 3 points or nothing... Luggy has to play for the win... a tie does us nothing.. a loss does us nothing, except piss me off even more... and im pretty sure Luggy isnt worried about pissing me off.

Question for the regulars.. and the lurkers... in the FA cup.. who do u root for.. the english side Portsmouth, who knocked us out of the cup, is a rival due to proximity and naval tradition OR do you root for fellow Championship side Cardiff City BUT they arnt even from England???

Probably Cardiff, but it would be better if Barnsley were still in there.

btw I'm afraid I agree with you about PAFC's playoff chances. Even if making up 9 points in 4 games against 2 teams were doable, there's too many teams bunched up around them who will have a say in the matter as well.

hae to agree that Barnsley wouldve made the choice much easier...

im afraid playoffs are long gone... now given where we are, im sure any of the teams in a relagation fight would be telling us to "shut the eff up", since we are safe from relagation... still stings to know our form of late and essentially made the playoffs a non issue

Have to be Pompey for me. Cardiff are Welsh and I just couldn't bring myself to want a Welsh club and their fans to win.

Pompey will hammer them though.

You guys able to watch the Sheff Weds game tonight? (or morning depending on where you are :))
