After seeing quite a few posts with questions about the goalkeeping position I'd like to share with everyone where I go sometimes for answers. I came across this website at www.GoalKeepersETC.com (http://www.GoalKeepersETC.com) where they have listed over 500 or so goalkeeping drills and tips, and all for FREE! It has a huge collection from different coaches with their favorite drills and activities. I have had to use the site on several occasions and have each and every time been helped.

Ever used Benji's site it is very very good.
What I like about Benji in general he posts on everything even non keeper stuff.
I started posting in the mid 90's when I first found the internet posted on the coaches list. Benji was already posting on that.
He definately knew more about the keeper position then I did. Main reason for that he specializes in the keeper position. I always had keeper coaches with my adult teams.
I saw Tony Meola do an interesting keeper drill when he was with the Long island Rough Riders.
I could not remember how it went and why he did it. Benji the genius actually knew about it.
He would let the ball go past him and while falling back would come up with it some how.
People could never see the point of the drill while he was doing it. Until he saved a goal doing it in game.
Meola was an interesting keeper. Could punt with either foot. Could drop kick with either foot and it was a great distribution for him.
So much so that other MLS keepers started to use it as a quick long distribution from watching him use it.

Thanks for the props, BigGuy! My site is JB Goalkeeping (http://www.jbgoalkeeping.com). Also free, with lots of tips on technique, tactics and psychology along with photos and video clips. There is also a section on training sessions with quite a few exercises and activities.
FWIW, while I don't make my keepers learn to punt left- (or off-) footed, I have on occasion done it myself. I do ask them to throw and bowl with their non-dominant hand, which certainly comes in handy :) at times.
GoalkeepersETC looks like a great site too, and I have links to several others at my site. The more goalkeeping info out there, the better IMHO.
