Official Philadelphia gooners thread - 07/08 season

Well you wouldn't have thought it would come so soon, but another season is upon us. Fado's (the staple location of many gooner celebrities including Shincan, n4100, hiddi (we always tried to convert El Prez during his tenure but never were successful) et al. will be showing both of the Emirates Cup matches this weekend starting with Arsenal vs PSG Live @ 11.15am on Saturday. Sunday has us playing Internazionale at 11:15am.

Who's thinking of coming out for these?

You know I'd be there, Buuuut, I'm going to DC this weekend, and will watch at Kitty O'Shea's.

And then vacation in Spain for me. Back to Fado for every freaking game starting in September!

I'm going to Spain for vacation too G. but not until September. My friend who's a member of Barca is taking us to the Sevilla match on the 23rd as it turns out....should be interesting.

I thought about seeing Barca. I did last year, vs. RCD Espanyol, and there are two possible games while I'm there (Aug 11-28). Fun stuff. Messi sure is incredible. And Puyol, live, is even more of a monster.

man, Barca is a great city. beach is lovely, food is superb.

we should both put the strong-arm on Eto'o.

I don't mind Fado's, and I went there a lot last year, but I hate it when it's one of the non-audio games. Felt like that never happened as much at the Dark Horse.

sounds like fun. surprisingly, theres actually quite a few arsenal supporters in the wilmington area.

i have decided that I am more of a starlet than a celebrity. starlet status allows for drunk driving, naked beach parties, etc. celebrities go on diets. not for me.

i'm just saying.

i've partied with paris hilton twice... i swear! at dodgers stadium and kodak theater. because of my job I can wiggle my way into things sometimes haha
do naked rooftop pool parties count? and diets? only for the women... :D

i just started drinking recently (ask nick!) so no drunk driving on my record yet. but philadelphia's car insurance is already too high so I don't need any more increases plus we don't have in and out burger over here to pull into in case i get hungry :p
