Interesting appointments. I guess this Tournament is not High Caliber to use FIFA only the Mexicans sending there FIFA's. THis is a interesting name Samir Osman (Egypt)

Well, we've got the AR & 4th assignments cornered. Interesting that none of the US v MEX matches were given to US or Mexican referees. Could it be to avoid the possible argument of favoritism by referees to teams from their country? That would explain the foreign referees, but it also means that it doesn't give either country a chance to showcase their guys well.

I was told there orginal plan was 2 and 2 on each match but i guess they powers decided that it was not feasible to do it that way. when I say 2 and 2 I mean it would be mexican referee mexican assistant us assistant referee us 4th.. or us referee us ar mexican ar, mexican 4th
