The Victory is visiting wet soggy Miami for its 2nd leg of its away games..
Halftime: 1-1
Vics scored opening goal at 3 mins (Hansen)....at 10th min. we should have had a PK (vics player pulled down in box... no call) California was looking very dangerous with several shots on goal...Miami was looking very passive until an on-goal was made by a vics player(30th min)...that sparked them a little and they have been playing better...they had 1 ball of the post, 1 go just wide of the goal post.

Final 1:1 Pretty scary at the end...the fellas almost let a couple in...we also had one off the post in the last 3 min of stoppage time....well we came away with 2 pts. for our outing to the east coast...not bad.....go vics!

Good result away for the Vics and a 3 game unbeaten streak and finally we are out of last place! Lets hope that they can pull 3 against Vancouver on Friday and 3 at home against Puerto Rico on Saturday!
With 8 games left the boys have 16 points. Miami is in 8th with 24 points. They still have a possible 24 points available to them. If they can go 4-2-2 and 30 points that might be enough to squeeze them into the playoffs. Come on you Vics!!

only problem is the Vics have played 5 more games than the Thunder. They gotta keep winning or at least not lose.

Hey folks, there was a production snafu during the FSC show. We are not playing Vancouver on Friday ... that would be Seattle.
Even better, the Vics play Minnesota on Thursday night -- the Toilet Bowl -- for a chance to stretch their lead over the Thunder.
Go Vics! Keep the love strong, folks. The team needs it and appreciate it.

This one should count for a lot especially after those two fierce matches last month on their turf--especially since the Thunder fans still remember them all too well.
What's important for the Vics--just win baby. Even though draws are draws and the two results are respectable, with the season about to hit the homestretch wins are going to be more important and draws are not going to be enough.
Still, getting out of the cellar is an achievement despite all the off-field distractions.

Some bad news about the Thunder game. Tony Sanneh should be starting for the team on Thursday. Hopefully he's too old and slow to make much of a difference:
