They would be eligible for the United States only if they became American citizens.

Even if they did, they would still be eligible for England.

Some people might think that since Brooklyn was conceived in NY, that he would be a natural US citizen.

This is an important thing, not the Romeo Beckham play for the US but that since our league is so very young, this will be the first generation(not NASL, mls is here to stay) growing up with professional soccer players as parents and surrounded by soccer. These kids will grow up with a ball on their feet and WATCHING soccer which can be more important for repetition and mimicing the players. All we can hope now is that Angel starts hooking up in NY city and Svenchenko comes over soon(which has been mentioned) and have their kids here. Klinsman must have had a kid in the states or they have been here long enough to have one in California. What about Moreno, Valdamrrama etc..

This is awesome.

Maybe we can start charging a "tariff" of bodily fluids for all foreign soccer players who enter the country.

If you can't beat em, well, beat part of them.

George Best's son Callum could've played for the USA as he was born and raised there. Apparently he was quite a decent player and had trials with Man U, but choose to be a male model instead. He's currently a C-list celebrity in the UK.

This has nothing to do with either fans or travel.
