    Some of the random nuggets from my XP gaming experiences.

    Will add them as I think of them. Or feel like it.:)

    Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption

    Cannot overwrite your saves? Game crashing as you try and go to Vienna?

    Try this:
    Right click on your Vamp game folder and select Properties. Select Advanced. Check the box by "For Fast Searching Allow Indexing Service to Index this Folder. Make sure to select all subfolders. If nothing happens make sure Indexing Service is set to Automatic. You can change it to manual after you are done. This should allow you to overwrite your old savegames and stop the autosave crash that happens as you leave for Vienna.

    Sudeki

    No movies?

    Try this:
    Check to see where you installed the game. If it is not under the c:\programfiles\zoo digital publishing\sudeki that is your problem. The movies have been installed in the default directory listed above. Simply copy them to your Sudeki directory and they should play.

    Sacrifice

    Game wont load up? Are you getting a "not enough pagefile memory" error?

    Try this:
    Check your pagefile settings. Control Panel - System - Advanced - Click the settings button by performance. Click on the advanced tab. Click on change.

    What do you see? Do you have a pagefile? If not, make one. Are you using a custom size? If so, switch to system managed size or lower the minimum pagefile amount. Sacrifice has problems with high custom pagefile values that have high minimum values. Play around with it and you should get it up and running.

    Winning Eleven Series

    Game was working fine for a long time and now it is going to crap? Strange crashes, sometimes random, sometimes always after certain events? Especially true in ML mode?

    Try this:
    Move your ml file and option file into two separate folders. Use the ingame controls. Put nothing else in these folders but the single file (options or ml). See if it works!

    KOTOR 2

    A lot of content was cut from the game at release. There is a project being created to restore this content to the PC version.

    Check it out here....

    Gothic 3

    Gothic 3 has been abandoned by the publisher and developer. Get the official 1.12 patch and then get the latest community patch.

    Just search Google for "Gothic 3 Community Patch" and you will find a download.

    Devil May Cry 3 SE

    If the game is starting in a window just open up DMC3SE.ini with a text editor and change

    ScreenWidth= ****
    ScreenHeight= ****

    to whatever resolution you are using in game. You should then jump straight to full screen.
