This is so tragic.

Apparently his mum , wife and three kids were at the ground watching the game.
This is just so awful.

Awful.... Awful......

We have a discussion going on the "FIFA and Tournaments" board for anyone who wants to join us there. There isn't much more information yet, I'm afraid.

Easily my favorite player this season at Man City and their MVP too I think. I thought it was a sick joke when I first saw it on the net. My thoughts go out to his family and those he touched.

My condolensces. This is just tragic. If there's any consolation to be taken from this, he died doing what he loved.

what kind of health problem does he have ? my guess is Asthma, there was an American girl died on the field last year because of Asthma, the team's doctor should've known his health situation.

Word is, he had a severe bout of malaria back in 2000 that might have been a factor.

No less than two people I've known have collapsed and died while exercising. Both had some sort of heart defect; that would be my guess.

ESPN News reported that the FIFA report was that he died of a heart attack. Very tragic indeed.

I truly feel horrible as every one else. What made me feel worse was that when I was watching the match. I thought it was heat exhaustion and took it with a grain of salt. Thought everything was ok. Upon returning from work I find out he passed on. Sad day for all. Man city, Cameroon, and his family and friends have lost a great athlete and gentleman. He'll truly be missed.
