wow such a debate??? Riquelme has not accomplished a thing, and I mean a thing. Astonishing to see such an intense discussion. Zidane is one of the greatest players in the world, Riquelme probably the greatest in his family.

Well man I am not going to get stuck into an argument, history speaks for itself, achievements speak for itself, Pele speaks for himself when putting Zidane as one of the 125 greatest living footballers, other experts and pundits speak for themselves. Zidane is a great player, admit without shame and move on.

Look, I posted something which is my opinion and I was not looking for an argument. You responded in a stupid way which suggested you wanted an argument. People don't have to post to get into an argument, unless you don't understand that then you shouldn't post yourself.

If you would like your opinion respected then present it as an opinion something you did not in any way do. Furthermore you state I responded in a stupid way. What is stupid is someone actually not taking the validity of any FIFIA award with a grain of salt. Any knowledgeable fan knows FIFA awards are very skewed. More stupid is basing your "opinion" on what Pele says. The man is one of the two greatest players ever but is notorious for saying some incredibly daft things when it comes to players. Just as stupid is asking for others/myself to admit Zidane was a great player without shame. When did I or anyone (excluding Teso) state that Zidane wasn't a great player? Most stupid was the original comment that Riquelme hasn't accomplished a thing and you meant "a thing" to which myself and another poster clearly pointed out to you as being not just bit wrong but unbelievably wrong.

This is a discussion forum and if you don't want your "opinions" questioned then you should consider what you post very carefully. Now are you man enough to admit that your comment about Riquelme not accomplishing a thing was ignorant and clearly wrong? Now if your views are still jaded by the torching Riquelme gave Madrid in the Intercontinental Cup then I understand otherwise you should learn to expect people to disagree with you and contest your "opinions".

Well, of course anyone has the right to contest my posts but not to argue which you don't appear to see the difference between. Jumping at me didn't help. If I contest someone's post, I would ask for clarification from the other poster to what he really meant. Not to jump to conclusions with a little sentence. I came out and said my original statement to Riquelme not achieving anything was flawed and I meant it in comparison to Zidane. If you call that back tracking, then that is your problem as I cannot clarify any more than this.

Contest or argue, what is the difference? Really how much clarification is needed to decipher what you stated. Had you meant it in any other way then you would have presented it in that manner which you clearly didn't.

LMFAO well if Pele says it then it must be true
That list was so pathetic and awful it wasn't even funny. I don't think any expert or pundit agreed with more than half of it. Not even Brasil, who had something like 15 players on the list, thought it was a good list
