i live in the north phoenix, but work in tempe, soooo it really doesn't matter. if it's a good pub, im willing to travel.

Or if you're okay with something a bit more Irish you can certainly hang with the MLSPR East Valley folk at RT O'Sullivan's, which is on Southern (nearby the Fiesta Mall area).

They have alot of soccer and rugby things to watch, and have been real nice to our group.

This is funny, because I too just moved from Chicago and miss The Globe - and I'm looking for a local pub. To expand on your question...are there any pubs that open early enough to catch the EPL live instead of the replays at 11AM local time?

I like George and Dragon, and it seems like a pretty good location. They do traditional pub things like the quiz and show lots of EPL games. The owner seems pretty nice, which is different than most Pubs stateside. They even chill the Chimay.
I'm only familiar with the one on N Central though.

You also might want to check out Churchill's Pub & Grill in Chandler. They have Setanta and show EPL matches.
