Wolverines are #5, with eight home games, and four fifth-year starters on offense including the QB, RB, and LT. Its a perfect set-up for another dissapointing season. :o I've seen it too many times!!
Hey at least you don't live in a state where people make excuses for not being able to beat the ********ing Gators not once but twice in 1 year for National Championships......pathetic....the people here are psychotic about OSU.......

I believe it is going to be on Setanta Extra, which is available on DirecTv. It is channel 670 (I think). I watched a few matches on this channel last season. I tried to check the Setanta site, but the TV schedule is down right now. Looks like I'll have to tape it and watch it Monday night.:(

Not the case apparently. It seems that Fox has outbid Setanta and will now show the match over their new internet offering instead of on TV. Same is true for the Blackburn match as well. We're not going to be on TV until the 25th.

WTF!!! Why would the league want a match shown over the net? Guess I'll miss it all together. I doubt they be showing it on Arsenal TV on Gol the next day. Fecking Fox.

I'll be supporting UM against OSU, but certainly can't wish them a national title run. No offense. :)

Well, GolTV doesn't have ArsenalTV anymore either. We're really being bent over the fcuking table here.
To answer your question, Jim, it looks like Fox is going to be offering live streams of matches not normally offered on television. However, in situations like this where games are rescheduled, there's a new bidding war that opens up, and according to reports, Fox paid more to show these games over their broadband service than Setanta was willing to pay to broadcast it on Setanta Xtra (which is available on DirecTV only).

I know, it is cheating a bit. Its because of the non-conference games basically. Teams want to play at Michigan Stadium because they get such a huge pay-out. The Big Ten schedule is determined by the league and is much fairer.

The Big Ten schedule is determined by the league and is much fairer.I'm sure the $4M profit Michigan will make for the extra home game has nothing to do with it. ;) Or the general desire to avoid out of conference road trips as best as possible, besides ND in UM's case.
I get it and unless any school does it consistently I don't hold it against them, but I do wish NCAA would mandate home games (or neutral site games where one team dictates terms and commands gate receipts, a la ND) make up no more than 59% of your schedule. Basically requiring 5 true road games for 12 game seasons.

Do I smell another Grateful Gooner?
Przyblinski and I love The Dead.
Count me in and sign me up for Arsenal/Dead shirts. 43 shows from 90-95. Digging 17 on Sirius.

Congrats on getting your team back, BTW, Liz.
Thanks! I'm extremely happy and very excited for next season. :)
Ohio is ok. We have settled in pretty well...the winter really sucked but the summer has been nice! Would you have to move for any of the jobs you have applied for?
Yeah, I'd be moving to DC to start out, then most likely abroad in a few years.

The people there are just psychotic in general. You'd have to be to voluntarily live in Ohio. :D
