All over the pitch as well, at least a half dozen Brazilian players, several of them high profile, will be plying the're trade in the english top flight in the new season(when was the last time that happened?)
here they are:
Lucas (liverpool) midfielder, one cap for brazil proper.
Anderson (Man Utd), attacking mid/left wing, two caps, big price tag.
Geovanni (Man City), Attacking mid/forward, formerly of Barca & Benfica, 7 caps (last in 2001)
Eduardo da Silva (Arsenal), striker, plays for Croatia NT.
Raphael Schmitz (Birmingham), centreback, getting french passport. has CL experience (with Lille)
Alex (Chelsea) unconfirmed, but likely signing, centreback, NT regular ten caps.
So how do you think these players will fare in the Premier League? breakout stars? weak legged flops?
any others i've missed?

Geovanni will be rubbish, he is a journeyman, one kick and he will be limping off.
Da Silva will be great as will Anderson

2. Da Siva good bye claims UK isn't cold enough

Another one to the prem!
Shaktar Donetsk & Brazil regular midfielder Elano has joined Manchester City. Elano has played central mid for brazil & is also capable of playing on the right.
Alex has now receved a work permit, he still need to agreed terms with chelsea & complete a medical.
Newcastle are reportedly in talks to sign former Lyon defender Cacapa on a free transfer.

Odd thing is, Brazlians come to the Prem, but they never stay long except for a very few exceptions. Weather, language, community.... (shrug).
