I was really too young back then to have an actual trauma. Lucky me has only actually been a real Eintrachtfan since 95/96 :rolleyes:
I have read a book about it tough called "Das Rostocktrauma"... really a bad bad day bak then...

As for Hansa... I think it would be a huge surprise if you guys could stay up this season. Youre definitely my number one pick for relegation. But we all know that football is sometimes unpredictable...
I would agree to Rostock staying in tough, if instead Bielefeld, Cotbus and Wolfsburg go down :p

I was in Frankfurt for the 1995/96 season game. 3-1 win for Hansa if i remember right. I remember those realy loud speakers in the old stadium. :eek: It was realy painfull.

And yes, no doubt we are the top candidate to go down. Im not suprised. If you take out Rydlewicz (34) and Beinlich (35) most of our players are in its mid 20s. Remains to be seen if such a young team can stay in the league. I sure hope so.

Gotta admitt I honestly didnt know the new name... I knew that it was sold but not the new name... Same goes for Hamburgs new name right now, but Im sure the media will mention it often enough that I wont be able to forget it anymore...

even though I think "Erfolgsthread" is a bit optimistic and is going to be thrown in our faces during the season I still believe we can stay up. Hope we sign another striker though.

I was at that game (3:1) as well. I remember being in the Frankfurt section (don´t ask why) with my girlfriend. And seeing stuff being burned from the Eintracht fans as our win got them further down into relegation struggle.

So if we all pull together we can stay up. It´s gonna be a long hard season...

I don´t hate St Pauli. I just think they get too much attention.

And it´s a long time ago they have actually beaten us, so I suppose Turbonegro had some erection problems for the past 11 years or so. :D
