This thread is dedicated to the 2002 game of the year: Metroid Prime.

Discuss it's superiority over other games in this thread. Also share your experiences playing the game here. Pictures of this great game are welcome too, so post them up.

I myself have not fully completed the game; I'm at 46%.

I was awesome enough to gather enough missile expansions so that now I have the ability to carry 105 missiles at one time.

Its a great game. I'm surprised at how natural the jumping felt considering it was modeled to play like an FPS. It still had the feel of the original metroid games, which in my mind was a massive plus..

Currently I'm stuck in the area with the specialized Space Pirates that can only be killed by specific beams. I think its the Phazon Mines...

I got past that part a month ago. Yah, it was pretty difficult, it took me a couple of tries to get it done. If you have enough energy tanks you should be fine.

Ive found a crap load of extra stuff just by going back to places ive already been and searching carefully. This game is truly loaded.
