OK. Well I think 600 useless and pointless posts for one thread is quite enough.
Time for another 500 useless and pointless posts.

Dunno but we should try to avoid breaking the rules of the place until he gets back.

First page! We're gonna sign Tevez and Nakamura and I heard on Saturday while out and about that we're going to sign this kid from NYC who's last name is Lee.

First time on the first page. I think the squad is strong and I will not be worried if we don't sign anyone eles

I think we'll be a force this year but a pacey winger is always welcome in my mind. I watched SWP play tonight in LA and thought he has the pace to make a nice addition. Better he play here than spu*.

Where is Rewinder with his typical "Who wants to bet we don't sign any new players this transfer thread" line. It seems to be our good luck charm

I just wanted to be on the first page. :D
But i would like to see a winger added. But perhaps if Freddie stays and we move Eboue up that would suffice. That means we would have Freddie, Eboue, Rosicky, Hleb, and others who are versatile are Walcott and RvP.

I am so excited for the new season. I don't know if we are done in the transfer market, i hope to secure the services of a Mr. Arsene Wenger for the next 6-7 years, and then, we'll be good to go. :D :p

Im gonna be optimistic and say that AW will be around after next year. We have had 2 transitional seasons now and AW is carefully building his next team which currently has probably the most potential of any team in the world to win trophies in the next few years. This is how i see things going. This coming season some of our potential comes through with us winning the FA cup but missing out on the league. After seeing this progression AW will sign on for 2 more years and lead our young team onto further glory. I could see us easily winning the league in either year and AW finally getting his hands on the elusive CL trophy along with another FA cup triumph and hopefully he will claim the CC as well since he has never won it. After these successes i think AW will hang up his whistle on a high note.

Something from The Mirror (http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/2007/07/18/primera-gunners-89520-19472302/):
ARSENAL teenagers Fran Merida and Carlos Vela, a Mexican, are set to join newly promoted Primera Liga club Almeira on a season-long loan in Spain.
Spanish midfielder Merida said: "I will be happy to do whatever Arsenal want me to, but my dream is to play with them in the Premiership."

Cesc doesn't treat us like a stepping stone, he just wants to play for the club he supports during his playing career.
PS. Today he said he wants to be future captain at Arsenal.

As long as they both still have the desire to come back, playing a season in la liga is a lot better for their development than a season in the reserves.
In terms of our own purchases I'd say we are about done.
