I saw it last weekend and it was great! I had read the comic book before, but still it was a lot better than what i expected. So many situations that we've all been through, told with a lot of humor. I would also recommend it to non iranians, you'll love it.
For those of you who don't know the story, Marjan Satrapi has illustrated her own life in Iran as a child and later on in europe. It is very accurate about Iran before and after the revolution, and same thing about iranians living abroad.
After the succes of her graphic novel, she's made the movie who got the "Jury award" this year in festival de cannes.
Persepolis is kicking ass in France right now. After 2 weeks :
