interesting statistics - Apertura 2007 - footballers who left for abroad

It is true the number of our players overseas is continuingly increasing. in the last tournament, the 5 month Torneo Apertura reflects this statement. 12 players (including youth divisions) have left the national league, increasing the number of players who have left for overseas:

    Defenders:
    1. Herrera - from Alianza Lima to GKS Belchatow [POL]
    2. Guadalupe - Free Transfer to Viera FC [GRE]

    Midfielders:
    3. De La Haza - from Cienciano to Chernomoret Odessa [UKR]
    4. J. Mendoza - from Cristal to Viera FC [GRE]
    5. Sanchez - from Alianza to GKS Belchatow [POL]
    6. Arrue - from Cristal U-15 to AC Siena [ITA]

    Strikers:
    7. Rengifo - from U.S.M.P to Lech Poznan [POL]
    8. Mostto - from Cienciano to Barnsley FC [ENG 2nd Div]
    9. Baylon - Free Transfer to Sporting Braga [POR]
    10. Hidalgo - from Sporting Cristal U-17 to Lech Poznan [POL]
    11. Alva - Free Transfer to Ao Xanthi [GRE]
    12. Vigil - From Universitario to Benfica? [POR]

sure, some of the clubs may not be the best in the world, but this is the first step to big transfers straigh from our league. I believe that currently the number of national players abroad is the biggest ever.

How many are going to leave in the Clausura?

    How embarassing would that be.

Have a team called Total Clean represent Peru in Copa Libertadores or Copa Sudamericana. Nobody would take them seriously.
