I actually like the Spurs but feel compelled to ask this question (kinda tongue in cheek). What two are they going to take? I don't think they are ready to challenge in the CL so that is out, not quite deep enough for the PL so that is out, so that leaves the FA and Carling cup. And then that brings in other teams that are at the Spurs level or slightly lower (Portsmouth, Reading if they can replicate thier form from last season, Everton and maybe even Villa)
So again with my question: which two?

:) The two Tottenham will win:
1) Inter-toto Cup
2) Tottenham Cup (between 1st team and reserves) the reserves take it 1-0 in extra-time.

Realistically what Spurs fans should hope for is a top four place in the league which I believe is possible if that team plays to thier potential. Also and FA or Carling Cup is obviously within thier grasp it just depends whether or not Jol would rather shoot for a Cup this year or finishing in the top four. I don't know if they can do both, length of schedule will hurt them and the lack of depth is what keeps them from being a United or a Chelsea. Spurs first team as it sits right now is not that far behind in talent as compared to thier major rivals. Depth of squad is what might hurt them in the end.

and the UEFA Cup, in which we will be among the favorites.
honestly, we'll rejoice at winning any one of them, so asking for two may be a bit much. but it's clear that mr jol wants silverware, so we'll be putting out the strongest sides possible for all of them - even if it costs us some league form. depending upon who drops into the uefa cup from the champions' league, our chances could be quite strong for getting to the final.

I think any one of the top teams are capable of winning multiple trophies this year and every year for that matter. The way the league goes with injuries, nothing is ever set in stone until the games are played. Should Chelsea lose Drogba for any length of time, they may win nothing. Should United lose Ronaldo, it could be the same. Arsenal without Fabregas, etc.
If anything Liverpool are the most balanced and have enough depth to get to another CL final with injuries. That's scary. They could lose 3 strikers and still be in good shape.

No, that's not the case at all, actually.

I see Spurs having a chance in the Carling and maybe UEFA. But other wise I don't see anyone taking 2 this year.
Man U won't get the same performance out of Giggs and Scholes this year.
Liverpool will need time for their strikers to adapt and I have no faith in Rafa in the League.
To many egos at Chelsea to not have a dip in form at the wrong time.
And unfortunatly Arsenal are not deep enuf with out a minimum of 2 more signings. Which even if we do get the team will still be to young for the 60 odd game grind it would take to have the chance.

Arf ... I do like the big font exclamation just weeks after not one, but two clubs were within a gnat's gonad of doing precisely that. It's entirely likely that someone
will win the treble again within five years!
So you'd rather have the UEFA Cup again instead of the Champion's League? Unless you don't know what treble Liverpool won. Unless, you're a weirdo Man Utd fan living in Liverpool..

Chelsea for sure can win two, they have the best squad in the Premiership - plenty of depth. What cost them last year was the injuries around Christmas time. Now they've added a few faces, that problem is solved - and I'm sure they'll march on to the title next season. The Champions League is something they have to win sooner rather than later. They've come close in recent years, and I can see them getting it right this time around.
Manchester United did very well last year - but they're coming into a new season with players like Scholes and Giggs ageing, and Nani and Anderson needing to prove themselves. Make no mistake though, they'll compete, but it will be only the F.A Cup or Carling Cup I'm afraid.
Arsenal have a gifted young team, and in another 2-3 seasons, they will be fighting for the title.

Chelsea will do good, and, though i hate to admit it, arsenal will probably be decent... Man U wont do as well as last year and the Spurs will probably drop down on the board... I want Liverpool to have a good season though...
