Given the fact that Setanta Broadband have two 'channel' slots will this mean at 10am on a Sat they show both the feed from Setanta Sports and Setanta Xtra.
This is the only thing thats stopping me getting ITVN in. I'm sick of the crap quality of the stream on Setanta Broadband and plus I'd like to watch the footy on my 42 inch plassy inside of my 17 inch monitor.
Anyone in the know?

ITVN is NOT the way to go. they are on the way out. I doubt they will last through september. they are bleeding money and losing subscribers left and right due to not being able to carry some rugby games shown on setanta.

Hello
I emailed Setanta and they said:
"We will have a channel launched in Canada by the start of the EPL season on Rogers and Bell Express. No announced date yet, but that is the best info I have right now."
When I asked about Videotron, they said no.
So I emailed Videotron and asked them, their response was:
Sir
Thank you for your interest in our digital service and for having taken the time to write us about channel Setanta Sports.
This station is not presently available and we have no information concerning its future availablility.
Videotron regularly adds new channels to its illico service. However, we cannot offer all the channels available for digital television.
The services and needs differ from one region to another and the channel additions requested must reflect the real interest of our customers.
We can added your name to our list of customers interested in this channel. A popularly requested channel could be added to the illico service.
Best regards

So anybody with Videotron or friends with Videoton, get emailing them, even if your friends dont want the channel.

AFAIK, Setanta Broadband doesn't show EPL matches, so if that's what you're referring to, it's not much of a choice.

starting this season setanta broadband AND fox soccer channel should start webcasting EPL matches, as they now both hold the rights to.

Ah, I wasn't aware of that. Thanks. At least there will (hopefully) be one other non-satellite option when ITVN goes titsup.

A new contract was signed with the EPL this season and it includes broadband rights.
