I think they won't have much to do with the relegation battle next season since they seem to have a good team and their preseason is going well.
latest result: 2:1 wind over Blackburn Rovers:

Hain – Kirch, Mijatovic, Langkamp, Rau – Kauf (57. Bollmann) – Tesche, Böhme (57. Ndjeng) – Masmanidis – Eigler (69. Zuma), Wichniarek (69. Kampantais)

goals by Eigler and Böhme

Good Team?

They aren't much better than Rostock,Cottbus,Karlsruhe and Duisburg.

Itll be just as tough for them as it always is... I definitely wouldnt take any bets on them staying in.

except rostock.

We'll see.

In my opinion, Arminia is usually very underrated.

I am biased, yes, but I still try to look at the things in a fair and reasonable way and I think that players like Hain, Zuma, Wichniarek, Kamper, Böhme, Korzynietz, Kucera, Mijatovic and Kauf are not very well known players but very useful players anyway.

Eigler, Masmanidis, Aigner, Langkamp, Bollmann and Tesche are decent prospects, imo.

I'm also excited about the two south african Signings Rowen Fernandez and Siyabonga() Nkosi.

It will be tough to avoid relegation, like every season but I'm sure they'll do it.

They still have Ernst Middendorp, a great coach......if he is not drunk...

@Doc_Aeppler:

I say they'll stay in the BuLi, you wanna bet against it? :D

Btw: I'm new here, a big hello to everybody.

Thanks for the warm welcome, you 2. :-)

wow! a bielefeld fan!!

I had no choice, i'm born in Bielefeld, you know...

not too long ago we were joking how nobody has ever seen a Bielefeld fan in person before
good to see ya here mate, cheers.

Yes I know, I read that and I felt VERY offended. ;)

That was why I delayed my Registration at Bigsoccer, how could you ever question my existence?!

Anyway, I honestly believe that there are more Bielefeld fans than Wolfsburg or Cottbus has.

@Fräulein96:

I will gladly obey your order...but you haven't said anything about posting there! :p

Yea, my sig clarifies what everybody has said before :p

Actually, when I went to see Hertha-Bielefeld, it was a really low attendance in the away section...actually it was a really low attendance EVERYWHERE so, I shouldn't be too harsh.

First of all congrats to an impressive start to the season and also congrats on getting Daniel Halfar from the Red Devils:

He has lot of potential imo and could do well with Eigler.

I totally agree, but does anyone know how much Bielefeld actually paid for him?

I've heard some figures as low as 500,000 and some as high as 900,000.

Please don't tell me Arminia paid 900,000 for him.......

Eigler was good in the 2. Liga but i expected more from him when he joined Bielefeld.

But i agree that Arminia's team is not bad. Wichniarek is a good goal scorer(i wonder what TOLH thinks about the goals he's racking up here ;) ), Zuma is a gifted if not very useful player, Kamper is my favourite Bielefeld player and i don't understand why he spent most of the season on the bench last year, and Boehme is still quite good for his age.

I think Arminia will stay up this season. The last three seasons in a row i picked them to go down each time and they never did, so this time i think they'll stay in...who knows, it might make them go down :D

The Halfar number of 900k has been confirmed, 800k right away and another 100k if he plays in a certain number of matches.

He has a lot of potential, but some problems that I hope he overcomes. Wish him well.

Wow, what a great start and big surprise! Kudos to your manager & team!

It seems that the former Fürth and Gladbach players Eigler, Mijatovic, Korzynietz, Kirch and Böhme are doing a good job. ;)

Suffering through their performance against KSC tonight was painful. They are just woeful in the middle of the pitch. I fear for their ability to survive.
