Can someone please explain why I'm watching the 1979 FA Cup Final when FSC was showing Beckhamania and Nick Webster said "We will be right back", and after the commercials what comes up is the FA CUP from 1979?

In my opinion the 1979 final has no relevance to what the soccer community is talking about right now - which is Beckham. Ifthey have had problen=ms with the tape they could at least show something that he played in, not something from when he was 4 years old! FSC has to have old games that involved him in their video library as Fox Sports world was introduced around 1997 so ther should eb some games from when Becks was at Man U.

But what happened to the rest of the program????

i personally was recording the 1979 FA Cup final, one of the greatest finishes in the history of the FA Cup. hopefully the beckham stuff doesn't interfere with it!

Man, that 1979 FA Cup final was great!

As for the original post - how much Beckham mania do you need? It was scheduled for 30 minutes and that's how long it ran.

So why did we hear Nick Webster say "we'll be right back?" Trust me the program was nowhere near finished. There was no wrap up and they told us what was coming next.

You are right. During the Revs/RB game on Sat at halftime, they played a promo that a Beckham special would be on Sunday night at 8pm and 1am.

So, I tuned in Sunday night around at some point between 8-9 cuz I forgot, and I saw the FA Cup game.

Did they show any of it?
