when he injured his leg at the liverpool game, and Man u won the Carling cup they all wore shirts with his nickname saying the cup was for him

They call him Smudger.

I think its just a nickname for ppl who have the surname Smith. Other than that, it was the name of a train in Thomas the tank engine. But I've heard the nickname Smudge/smudger quite a bit.

I think he'd do best to leave, he's had that terrible injury you'd never wish upon any player. But even before that he was never a regular in the team. He'll just be sitting on the bench for most of the season again with or without Tevez arrival.

why was Smith called Smudge
Because he's not good enough to be considered a skid mark.

In other news, someone or something has hacked my Facebook. Not. Pleased.

Well Newcastle got him for 6m. I have to say im not too gutted about it. To me he had a few good games in a United shirt. But the rest was a massive let down. Hope he does well for Newcastle though.

£6m manure must be laughing all the way to the bank. a bit like we are with £6m being bandied about for mido, that c*** isnt worth 10p. he's embarressing, fat and useless.

the most honest evaluation of smith is he is a striker who doesnt score goals. now forgive me if im wrong but that is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.

edit: and he wears lipstick.

and he wears lipstick.

I noticed that also, unless he just has naturally bright red lips

James Beattie has just got worser and worser, he was better at Southhamton
Also Smith was better at leeds where he played upfront wih Viduka and now he might play upfront with Viduka at Newcastle.

Don't know if this was discussed, however, Man United signed this 9yr old wonderkid.. check out the video.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=hZ_RS4Q1myc

Not too bad.. Dominic is 2 1/2, so I have 6 1/2 years to prime him and move us to England...:D

So I missed the Goal 2 discussion, however, my sister used to work in the movie industry in LA, and word around the campfire.. Goal is supposed to be a trilogy... HAHAHAHA That's right a trilogy.. Should rank right up there with Star Wars, Back to the Future, and Indiana Jones...

Edit* I wonder what happens in the 3rd one?? He retires from int. play, and goes to the US to retire??

No kidding? that's cool!! because Last time I was coaching (u-11 girls) I didn't see neither boys nor girls at that skill level.. Maybe things have changed in the past few years... :o

I can't tell if you were being serious or not... :x

He's the best kid on the field, of course. Way better than his competition. So yes, he will be throwing stepovers, and taking shots.. he doesn't look very heavily pressured... one should take into consideration the skill level of the kids around him.

I would look like the fifa player of the year if you put me next to the rec players of my age.

You can't judge someone's skill at 9.

edit--> PS, I feel bad for Jake Brown

That looks like it hurt just a little bit... and he still walked away!
