Yeah, I see that being his nemesis for moving to Europe. He is listed as 5'-8" 145lb on RSL roster and Altidore is listed as 6'-1" 175lb. Hmmm...

It's even worse on the stats FIFA puts out for the photographers. Freddy is listed at 1.72 meters, Altidore at 1.77 meters. 5cm difference, or 2 inches. And for weight, Freddy is listed at 66kg, Altidore at 68kg.

In that picture, it looks like the top of Adu's head comes up to about Altidore's chin. From the chin to the top of a persons' head is about 10 inches. But if you look at the players' feet, it looks like Altidore is elevated an inch or two with only his toes on the ground. Adu, meanwhile, looks to have his knee flexed, which would drop the height of his head a few inches. The difference between Adu's and Altidore's height may only be about 6 inches or so.

He must only be 15... :D

lol at those who use height, weight, past experience, etc as a "guage" for how old a person is!

 Star struck gazes from three adults and an Austrian Team Captain, all looking at Freddy Adu. Looks like persons seeing a celebrity in person, up close for the first time. Surprised?

HAHA, more like laughing at the most overhyped American player who plays for the worst team in MLS. Ya, they are so starstruck that they beat the USA without flinching. and FWI, they are all looking at him because he's speaking.

Without flinching? They won by a goal, in overtime. Without flinching, am I missing something?

Yeah, you're missing the point that the guy is an idiot. The "most overhyped American player" just turned in one of the top 5 (at least) performances of any player in the tournament, and his team went out in part because of goals gifted by an injured goalie and a driving rain. Other than that, he was spot on...

Just remind jadger what host country didn't even make it out of their group. Let alone win a match.

Adu can't be more than to 5'5"..

There is no way he is 5'8" as stated.

He is shorter than Messi and Tavez who are 5'7"
