I hate to break this to you, but there is club football in the Western Hemisphere, too. There has been plenty the past few days, some in HD.

I had the same thought. I could have sworn I was watching club football in a game that mattered Saturday night.

You've obviously missed the point of the thread, so I will explain it to you. The purpose of the thread is that unlike regular-season top world league matches, where there are plenty of sites to go to see who is playing each week, the televising of pre-season games of the world's top teams is more sporadic and thereby harder to come by, and thus, those interested in seeing these games can find out if it is available and where.
I am well aware that there are leagues that play in the summer, and was going to include "European" in my title (as you alluded by your Western Hemisphere comment), but that would not be accurate either since, for example, Sweden and Denmark are playing their seasons right now, and the pre-seaon matchups I was finding included teams from Asia, Mexico, etc. as well. I wasn't out to slight your interest in MLS, but its as if I started an american football thread to provide where the NFL teams were playing pre-season and where it could be viewed, and all someone can think of is that NFL Europa was playing club football all summer, not to mention the CFL.

Thread title changed. It's just clearer.

FSC has Toronto FC v. Villa on 25 July
Setanta US will be showing the Emirates Cup:
Arsenal v. PSG 28 July
Inter v. Valenica 28 July
Arsenal v. Inter 29 July
PSG v. Valencia 29 July
Anyone know if the Amsterdam Tournament will be shown on either Setanta or Gol, both of which have shown it in the past? The tournament usually features top sides. Setanta's site does not list it and Gol's site isn't usually updated until the last minute. Take care.

The Amsterdam Tournament (featuring Ajax, Arsenal, Lazio, and Atletico Madrid) is not until Thursday, August 2nd and Saturday, August 4th, so it will be a few days until we can see if Setanta is carrying it. There is also a Port of Rotterdam Tournament that weekend (Aug 3 and 5), which celebrates the Port's 75th Anniversary and will include Feyenoord, Liverpool, Porto, and Shanghai Shenua...all teams from large port cities. Hopefully both tournaments will be televised (Sky Sports is carrying both tournaments in England).
As for this upcoming weekend (and lasting until the following weekend), GOLTV will show the entire German "League Cup" which precedes the Bundesliga season:
Sat, July 21:
9:30 am - Schalke v. Karlsruher
12:00 pm - Werder Bremen v. Bayern Munich
Tues, July 24:
2:30 pm - Nuremburg v. game 1 winner
Wed, July 25:
2:30 pm - Stuttgart v. gagme 2 winner
Sat, July 28:
12:00 pm - semifinal winners
