Been watching some of his highlight, and i can't wait for the season to start with this guys fully fit and raring to show that he's ready to be the head talisman. I truly believe in a couple of years he will without a shadow of a doubt, be considered one of the best players in the world. Hopefully he stays injury free this season, and keep delivering the goods. RVP, RVP, RVP, RVP, RVP, RVP.:) :) :)

Totally agree i think he will comfortably break the 20 goal mark this season(if he stays fit)...he'll score more than Berbatov.

Agreed. As the primary striker I think he will break 20 goals easy. The goal last year against Watford...belisima! It was almost as if the ball was on a string and he guided it in on a bend from 20 yards. A thing of beauty.

Can't wait for the season.

Don't tempt johan...

It's certainly something I am looking forward to as RVP is my favourite Arsenal player.

Yes indeed. Look at what he's done the past few years while being #2 or a sub...I certainly agree that he could comfortably surpass the 20 mark this season.

There's no need to fear...RVP is here.

Forget Eduardo, Sagna, blah blah blah, i'm pumped to see RVP in action for the first time in a half a year.

I think this will be his breakout year. If he can stay healthy he can be an absolutely top-class striker. His skill is tremendous, his movement is impeccable, and his finishing is underrated.

One thing I love about RVP that people don't mention much is his set piece ability. He has one of the strongest legs in the world on set pieces.

I can't wait for the season to start.

Was there a seemingly tense interaction between RvP and Henry during the celebration? Henry seems to throw his hands up at the end.

He was looking at the ref, who basically said "hurry it up" with regards to the celebration. He made that gesture to say "it's not me celebrating" and backed off. After that the ref went over to van Persie and basically told him to get back in his half to get the game restarted. Nothing bad involved really.

I knew you had good taste, lol.

I too think a healthy Robin can bag at least 20, he has the killer
instinct to step up and be greedy enough when many of the lads
pass the ball off. HE WANTS TO SCORE!

I love watching that goal! I remember when the cross came in I was thinking "Man, who the hell is he crossing to? There's nobody around. Argh!" only to see RvP come sailing into the picture and slotting the shot home. Great stuff.

So glad the preseason is started up.

Me too. I literally didn't know what to do other than scream, "Holy sh*t!!" I can watch that show every 5 minutes. I mean where does that guy get the balls to even try something like that? Oh yeah, he's THAT good.

RVP, RVP, RVP!!!!

RVP is one of my favorite players to watch. If he plays up to his form, I'll be happy simply because the football will be brilliant.

He is a freakin' mad man! I can't wait to see him in action for a full year. I believe that he will be next to unstoppable. Check out that video! My favorite is at 1:45, so calm and cool!

Robin van Persie has been tipped to win next season's Premier League Golden Boot by former Gunners favourite Paul Merson.

He said: "It is a bold prediction but I think he has the chance to be the top scorer in the division." - Link (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/football.html?in_article_id=470293&in_page_id=1779&ito=newsnow)
