Sensi goes mad .... Roma shares fall

Has Franco Sensi gone mad? He, in one (drunken?) interview, insulted Fabio Capello (ok, nothing new there), Carlo Mazzone (by assuming he'd leap at the Roma job when he's already in discussions with Ancona), faithful old Marco Delvecchio ("we don't need him anymore"), AND German club Bayer Leverkusen (for stating that a deal for Lucio has been set and that an Italian bank is buying 5% of the club - Bayer denied both claims).

Within hours, Roma's publicly-traced shares were dropping, probably because people realized the president must be getting senile. The club quickly released a "reparatory statement".

Moggi Attacked By Roma Board Member

AS Roma board member Michele Baldi has hit out at Juventus general manager Luciano Moggi after he spoke out against Giallorossi president Franco Sensi.

"Moggi should wash his mouth when he talks about Sensi," said Baldi. "He only represents the arrogance of power and money, which is not his money by the way. He's the one who hired a whore for a referee. He represents the worst example for our youngsters."
