With the signing of Baird, it looks like Lawrie is filling his roster with N. Ireland players. Is this a good idea?

Coleman signed Welsh players, Tigana signed French players, Liverpool is full of Spaniards. Coaches often pursue a lot of players from their home country as they are players the coach is familiar with and trusts to do a good job. Honestly, if Davis, Baird, Hughes, and Healy can work as well at Fulham as they do for the NI national team, that's just fine with me.

Oh, if they represent the shirt, I don't care where they're from. I was wondering if it was common to have many players on a national team on one club team. I guess, now that I think about it, Fergie has a good chunk of the England side on his roster.

Yeah, that is a major concern. That and when the African Nations Cup comes up, we lose Diop and Kamara which isn't helpful.

Oh, I'm sure we'll have found a pair of Irishmen to cover for them for a few weeks.
