Now, the one from el boliviano Jaime Moreno....that was sweet
I listed loco abreu's for what that goal mean to that game on minute 64.....plus the effort/garra and the concepcion of it (the pass was great and header before nice!)

I thought about mentioning the Roman PK as well. Wasn't Sanchez already down to the side looking back to the middle while the ball wasn't even halfway to gol? You've got to be one cool mofo to take a pk like that. Messi had a beauty but I still liked the Castillo vs. Brazil. At least Castillo had a defender draped all over him to execute his.

2. Riquelme's PK > Sanchez: Are you effin kidding me man? Probably the best PK kick I've ever seen. Roman is an effin stud, he's always so damn "cool."

3. Nery > Doni: Great display of skills by this young cat. With more experience he'll become even more dangerous.

I don't agree Riquelmes was 2nd best in the tourney. That's a gol most quality players can make, although it's an incredible gol. In my opinion some of the others mentioned were better, because they involved defenders, and real play. Not just a beautiful PK

Here's an example if you've never seen that PK Riquelme hit before, there's others out there if you care to look. No taking away anything from it, definitely class.

Well you're partly right. I guess I haven't seen that many "floaters" where the goalie is on the floor before the ball even goes in :).

As much as I like soccer, it's not until I got DirecTV that I started catching tons of games and goals...you can imagine how many PKs I actually saw before.

Nonetheless, I liked it more than Nerys, not because it was more difficult, but just because Sanchez on the floor watching the ball float by was classic . :cool:
