My bad, I cut his name short in the title. I'm talking about Moura of Flamengo.

Can you guys tell me a bit about this player? Ole, an Argentine newspaper, claims that Rafael Martiniano de Miranda Moura was offered to River Plate. They said that the directives are interested in bringing him in, but I also heard that he only scored 1 goal in 17 games last season!?!?!? Hopefully there is some good reason to cover up this lack of goals (since he is a foward), but it seems that he isn't that great of a player.

Thanks in advance.

actually you are talking bout attacante Rafael Moura (23 de maio 1983, 1,89 m from Fluminense and not the Flamengo lateral Leo Moura.
Rafael Moura had a good start and got the nickname "he-man" when playing for corinthians. Fans at Fluminense disliked him and his behaviour and so he didn`t made it to become a regular player for fluminense. he is (like eg Tevez,...) owned by MSI.

Thanks for the correction.

Hmm.. Interesting info.. By the way, you mentioned he played for Corinthians. Was this during Daniel Passarella's time at the Brazilian club? This might be the reason why he is linked to River.

Thanks again!
