ok.... you missed the point... latorpe was able to contain the mid with his strategies and hold off argentina even with a team really low on talent... now imaginate if lavolpe had all the talent that hugo has now... and the mid was lost after half time............. Im just stating how other teams have beaten argentina is by owning the midfield just like the strategy that lavolpe had back in the WC game...

Thats where I had a problem with Lavolpe, he never picked the right players and that drove me crazy. I could only imagen what would happen if we had nery during that argentina game. He had the right set of mind when it came to strategy but didnt have the players to pull it off.

and like I said.. he wasnt good at those things... yes he lost a chance to take nery and co. cuz of his dumb fuvk mistakes and all thats stuff.. but his strategies made up for some of the blunders he made........... and believe it or not.... I think a combination of hugo sanchez and lavolpe as his tactical assistant would improve our seleccion by great lengths... but I know this will never EVER happen.......

Pern STFU, what did you have to say about Hugos tactics when we beat Brazil 2-0 or when we beat Paraguay 6-0... right you had nothing to ********ing say. Lavolpes tactics would have gotten us 1 shot on goal the entire second half, and we would have gotten raped 4-0 even after bunkering. It wasnt Hugos tactics that cost us this game, Argentina was just better. Why is it that people are complaining about Hugo subbing out Torrado and screwing up the tactics when just a couple of weeks ago people were complaining about mexico playing with 2 contenciones and now you get mad because he goes away from 2 conteciones. It was either play defensive and not take any chances or put in some subs and try and get some offense going, unfortunately it backfired on us and we lost ohh well. We are on the right track, never in my life would I have thought that Mexico would have looked this impressive without Salcido and Osorio. For a while I really thought you were improving on this forum, but honestly your'e still the same moron you were when you first got here.

what lack of vision??? Mexico dominated the midfield 40 out of 45 minutes in the first half, it wasnt a tactics thing, Hugo just had to take a chance on getting some more offense going so he subbed out torrado who IMO was the one who was the main cog in that midfield, it backfired and thats that. Lavolpe's brilliant tactics would have been to control the midfield, get 1 shot on goal the entire half and still lose the game.
