Yes everone of them In 1976 they played out of Lamport field with possibly the worst turf in the history of soccer. Eusebio was great and Metro's-Croatia won the NASL title that year.

In 1976 they played out of Varsity. It was '75 or '77 that they played out of Lamport.
Ahhh, those were the days.

You are half right. They played part of thier games at Varsity but most at Lamport. Varsity was used for Olympic 76 Soccer.

Wow, you guys have seen some great players. For me not so much but I would have to say it's a tie between Michael Owen and Steven Gerrard.

I do remember one game with a massive hail storm during a game at Lamport. Can't recall who they played but oh man the size of the ice balls!!

I have to go with Mathias Vidangossy :)
Yes, yesterday was the first international game that I was attending, but still, this kid is amazing
Let's hope that I'll have the chance to attend a Canada game soon, so I'll be able to answer Julian De Guzman, Dwayne De Rosario or Atiba Hutchison next time this question is asked :)

How is that a tie? Steven Gerrard is exponentially better. I remember that game. People were cheering Michael Owen because he was the hot shot national team striker who was on the verge of moving to Madrid (which most people did not even know) where as no one gave a shit about Gerrard.

You are measuring fame. Not player ability. And for him its a tie. Its his opinion not yours ;).

two great players, a tie in my eyes and Gerrard is in no way exponentially better than Owen, can't really compare them anyways.

Yeah we can. Both are soccer players. One is injured all the time where as the other single handidly won his team the Champions League. Looks easy enough to me ;)

Was at the NASL championship game at Exhibition Stadium...I thought it was so cool to see Pele. I have come to realise how fortunate I was to see all the other greats there that day.

Pele never played at Exibition Stadium. He was retired before the Blizzard started playing there.
