In my previous thread, "The Sad Truth", I talked about the sorry situation of Peruvian soccer and why we won't accomplish anything until we fix everything that relates to professional and amateur soccer in Peru.
That thread was closed arguing that there were other threads discussing the same thing, which begs the question, If there are other threads with the same theme, why close mine -the only one that's active- and leave the others open, wherever they may be? If it's being closed because there is 'more than one' shouldn't all the others be closed and leave only one?
I guess we have to keep room for "¿Debemos de Jugar con Medias Rojas o Blancas?" or" What time are you going to start drinking for the opening match of Copa America: Peru vs. Uruguay".
That brings me to my point, the reason I opened this threadt.
I want to talk about solutions.
To offer solutions, the first thing to do is to agree in what the problems are.
My two cents:
- Players lacking fundamentals and unprepared to face high-level competition.
- Unqualified management
- Improvisation
- Uninteresting, rough games
- low attendance/TV ratings
- Ill economies in professional league (League, and clubs)
- Corruption and contempt for the rules
- Lack of a master plan from Federation
Any suggestions?

I would like to add, poor acquisition of foreign players and coaches.

I think when you say
"Players lacking fundamentals and unprepared to face high-level competition."
is obvious you don't mean all of them just the ones called to the NT that play in our league, unfortunally if you are going to make the case for players lacking fundamentals how about a coaches who lacks fundamentals and unprepared to face high - level competition as well? (most of the coaches in our league)
Unqualified management - all the way up to Burga but this might change as his last days in the FPF are "counted" eventhought they are sure riping the bendage slowy wtf! - however Juvenal Silva is taking charge and he is another argollero but at least he is trying to export peruvian talent elsewhere but Dammit is only Cienciano peruvian talent! oh well i guess is a start.
- low attendance/TV ratings
i think this applies to most of the teams in our league but not to all, ahi te va:
http://www.peru.com/futbol/autonoticias/columnistas/2006/08/29/DetalleNoticia78911.asp
todo esto tiene que ver con el presidente de clubs del Peru, and I think we have a new one ? do we?
Ill economies in professional league (League, and clubs)
the only one I see doing great things is Cienciano, Juvenal could be a lof things but he was smart with Cienciano and has had some success with this team and look where it stands in such a short period of time. Other teams are sooo stuck under so much debt is beyond me how they manage to stay alive - this is why they can't aquire quality talent.. and mediocre players = mediocre teams --- even a mediocre league makes a quality player look mediocre, anyways I think the structure of the way clubs are runned in Peru should change from ownership to their office - there lies a dilemma because this would be a radical change..
Corruption and contempt for the rules - everyone has these, we just have to see beyond these and cope with them.
Lack of a master plan from Federation - we need people in the FPF who cares about peruvian futbol but who are smart business people who are willing to loose to gain something. As well as keep exporting talent else where so players could gain the international experience to maybe use in the NT, this is somethign that peru is doing lately, i don't recall this many players abroad, can anyone?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peru_national_football_team
look at our strikers section, the only one playing in Peru is Vigil and even him has been abroad and might go back because he is still young
of course there are more prospect and we are lacking a midfield -

I read the article from peru.com from that great columnist Luis Puigross, one of the only ones that have fought for years to shake the system into making deep changes in Peruvian football. Alas, his pleas always fall on deaf ears.
Looks like pro football in Peru is more of a joke than even I could imagine. How can you program a game only to have 4 people show? You would think that just the people living in the neighborhood would amount to 100 times that. They should be able to get 50 people just from the guys walking around the area thru promotions and gimmicks.
According to the list, Universidad San Martin -the reigning champion and one of the teams that is making and effort to do things right in our football- is one of the clubs with less of a following. How could that be? Don't they have a captive audience in need of social interaction with all those students? Can't they muster a fan club? Is there a Marketing program in la San Martin?
Even against Sporting Cristal playing in their stadium they could only get 280 people thru the gates. Pathetic.
Looking at the numbers I wonder how is it that football survives in Peru. No wonder we suck.
Come to think of it, football is dead in Peru. Dead and buried, they just haven't bothered to tell the players.

I see I managed to get a lot of the castles-in-the-sky people mad.
Hopefully there are some real fans still around willing to start a discussion.

Actually, a true fan is not only a cheerleader, but he also has a duty to keep a watchful eye on the work of the team -players, coach and managers- and to voice his opinion when things are not going right.
I invest time and money following my team, I watch their games on TV or pay per view , root for them, buy jerseys, patronize their sponsors, etc. In return, I expect that they put out the best product possible.
And when things go bad, I don't jump off the wagon, but I demand that they take the measures necessary to improve the team.
Peruvian football has been on a free fall for how many years now? Let me tell you, NOTHING has been done. The only thing that changes are the players, but the product is the same.
Take it from me, the Peruvian teams always play the same way, reacting instead of proacting. Destroying instead of constructing. No matter who coaches or who the players are.
I've seen it over and over and over.
So, I don't care if I P.O. most of the people here, or if you guys want to seat on your hands and cheer the teams like f-king robots, I love my team and my country and I want the best for It.
That's the reason I criticize. Maybe, just maybe, something good could come out of it.
Now, are you ready for some solutions?

to improve peruvian soccer, I would invest greatly on its youth and nothing else. At this point, getting rid of FPF corruption is a dilema with no answers and ending.
We have this:
http://www.adfp.org.pe/modulos/menores.html

una reunion en base a la que tiene actualmente el Peru en juventud tomando en quenta the recent success of our sub17, would be a great opportunity for a market launch with enough profit so that a safe environment can be provided in our stadiums for a clean and healthy desarrollo para los chibolos en Peru.
