As funny as the film was, people always play down just how great their music actually was too. It rocks!

Got a leak of the new Common album "Finding Forever". In my opinion, he is the best rapper alive right now. His music has more thought than most of the industry combined, and the thought behind his words should make the clowns callin themselves rappers go kill themselves. I hope he gets commercial success this time around - h's gotten critical acclaim from everyone from the harshest critics to freakin Oprah.

Tracks to watch for -

"Southside" - You may have seen this track around the Superbowl, Kanye and Common did it as the modern "Superbowl Shuffle" for Chitown. This is an extended 4 minute version all about Chicago.

"The Game" with DJ Premier - A good old school New York style beat with one of raps greatest, Premier.

"The People" - Another thoughtful anthem.

His albums are always an incredible listening experience. I remember the exact 40 minutes I spent first listening to the last cd, 'BE'. Best rapper alive period.

Anybody listen to Symphony X? Their latest album is not only one of the greatest metal albums of the last twenty years but one of the best progressive rock albums ever made.

The correct answer is Rubber Soul. Followed closely by Abbey Road.

I still think Sgt. Pepper's is the best Beatles album of the lot.

"The Beatles" (the "White Album") is a self-indulgent pile of crap. "Revolver", "Rubber Soul", "Pepper" and "Abbey Road" are all much better.

"Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins."
"Homer Simpson, smiling politely."

Yes, I picked up the new Pumpkins album yesterday, and pretty much have not stopped listening to it. There's just something about the Pumpkins sound thats always intrigued me, ever since Gish. This album was definitely long overdue.

Nas still takes the cake for me.

I had to go back in time and get a couple older albums. (It was written and The Firm).

If you want some alright hip hop, also take a look at some of Big Pun's songs.

While every Beatles album is spectacular none are better, none more important, creative, revolutionary, inventive as Sgt. Pepper's lonely Hearts Club Band. What the band did with that album changed music. Every single track is different from the next, clearly their use of recreational drugs such as LSD and weed had a lot to do with their music, but it makes it that much more interesting of an album. For me Sgt. Peppers is probably the best album ever made. Like I said every Beatles record is excellent. Abbey Road, The Beatles (White Album), and A Hard Days Night are superb, but to not include Sgt. Pepper in their top 3 is a bit ridiculous to be honest.

Oh and anyone who claims the Beatles are overrated either haven't heard anything from them or need to be taken into therapy immediatley.
