I was browsing the guide on cox, and I saw gol tv listed on channel 440. I didn't have to add it, probably because I already have espn deportes and fox sports en espanol :). Man this freaking rocks, I was so close to switching to direct tv just to get goltv. But they charge more, anyways does anyone else get the channel?

I hate Cox so bad, I will rather go for Directv,

you get

Goltv, ESPN Deportes, Fox en Espanol, TyC

cox charged me so much, boxes for HD etc etc....

better doing a 12 month agreement than playing $15 for regular boxes and $5 for HD and extra for guide....bad bad baddddd

The only good thing about box is the hish speed.

I asked for that channel so many times with Customer Service and finally they have it, although I don't have Cox =)

$5 for Paquete Latino :D

Setanta is being added to DishNetwork, so starting August 1, I will have FSC, GolTV, WorldSportHD, Setanta, ESPN, ESPN2, etc.

I had ESPNDeportes but it was a trial I think.

There will be no excuses for me ever missing a game :)

wow that is good to know, I just moved to Queen Creek and I am not sure what to get.

Directv
Dishnetwork
Cox

I hate to pay for boxes and that's why Cox is my last thing in mind. We get basic cable from cox from our HOA. I am going to get the Cable internet but not sure about TV service.

Directv, has all the good channels for soccer including TyC for Argentinian soccer but they don't have many HD channels. They said they are going to lunch a lof of them but nothing yet.

Dishnetwork has a lot of options but no TyC and if they get Setanta that will be a plus.

The downside of Dish or Directv is that with this storms the dishes always get out of range and you loose the signal and quality goes out.

We'll see!

Hi

I had dish network for a few years here in Phoenix. It has to be a big rainstorm to lose a signal. It only happens to me a few times a year. It is only an occasional inconvenience.

What ever you choose GET A DVR! I say again GET A DVR!

Aaron

PS You can hide your dish network box. They use a UHF remote control. Which does not need line of sight to work.

Get a DVR. Losing signal due to weather is a lie the cable companies put out to scare everyone away from getting something else besides cable. like Neurtral Fan said When you do lose service you always have something on your DVR to watch. Since you already have free basic cable you can also plug that into your box to get local channels and you won't have to pay for a local package.

Yes, right now I have channel 1 to 99 free from Cox...its inclueded on our HOA...
I don't want Cox...they brag about 100% digital but their channels have bad quality...
I have a 56' and 42 plasma. HD yes they have good signal but

I HATE THE RENTING OF BOXESSSSSSSS ITS TO MUCH MONEY...
I RATHER HAVE A CONTRACT THAN PAYING $20 FOR EVERY BOX...
