We can do one now (since CC is over), and one right after Gold cup. After that the next major internationals will be World cup Qualifying. If Arena ever had a full squad, he would almost have too much talent, check it out:

GK
Brad Friedel - Blackburn Rovers
Kasey Keller - Tottenham Hotspur
Tim Howard - Manchester United

RB
Tony Sanneh - ???
Steve Chrundolo - Hannover 96
Frankie Hejduk - Columbus Crea

CB
Eddie Pope - NY/NJ Metrostars
Carlos Bocanegra - Chicago fire
Danny Califf - LA Galaxy
Gregg Berhalter - Energie Cotbus
Cory Gibbs - ???

LB
Gregg Vanney - Bastia
Cory Gibbs - ???
Wade Barett
Frankie Hejduk - Columbus Crew
John O'Brien - Ajax
Bobby Convey - DC United

DM
Claudio Reyna - Sunderland (for now)
John O'Brien - Ajax
Pablo Mastroeni - Colorado Rapids
Chris Armas - Chicago Fire
Bobby Convey - DC United

LM
DaMarcus Beasley
Eddie Lewis
John O'Brien
Bobby Convey

RM
DaMarcus Beasley
Bobby Convey
Steve Cherundolo
Chris Klein
Earnie Stewart
Ben Olsen

AM
Claudio Reyna
John O'Brien
Kyle Martino
Bobby Convey

F
Brian McBride
Clint Mathis
Edson Buddle
Jovan Kirovski

S
Landon Donovan
Josh Wolff
Clint Mathis
Edson Buddle

I'm obviously only using players that Arena has capped before. Its also obvious that we have weak points at CB and RM, but a full squad we still have a lot of options for Bruce. So if we played a match tommorow, everyone who is listed at the top of their positon, would by my personal choice for starter. somwthing like this

TS--Pope---Boca---Vanney
----------JOB-------------
--Convey------------DMB--
----------Reyna-----------
----LD--------------------
------------------BMB----

Personally, if for curiosity's sake more than anything else, I would like to see:

--------Friedel----------
Dolo'--Pope--Boca--Gibbs
---------JOB------------
Covey------------Beasley
--------Martino---------
------Mathis------------
---------------Wolff----

No we don't. Pope and Carlos can just NEVER miss a game. Simple enough...

well thats my point. This ConFed cup has shown that Bruce has a few more options than he thought he did 1 week ago. I mean, ignore that whole the sky is falling because we lost to Brazil and Turkey group, this was a very succesful ConFed cup. I bet we'll see Edson Buddle, Santino Quaranta, Ricardo Clark, Conor Casey and Todd Dunivant in the Gold Cup. Maybe even Mike Magee (even though I think his sucess has more to do with Guevara more than anything else)

I fixed your post, Arena wont bring in new faces for the gold cup unless he changes his position and takes it even less seriously then the confed.

That cuts both ways though. Arena evidently felt (feels?) like Berhalter and Vanney could contribute to the full nationals but the Cup showed substantial holes in their games IMO. Maybe Vanney can still help us against teams with less speed and skill, but Berhalter looked over his head in the New Zeland friendly.
