Seeing as Del Bosque was shuftied out of there not a day after they won La Liga.

Yup, gonna be a fascinating summer.

yeah, I think Wenger made it clear but I am sure the talk will start again. I just don't see him leaving right now.

A side note how crazy is Real, the guy wins 2 European Cups, 2 league titles and is fired. Now sure I could have coached that line up to the title this year but basically board is saying win 2 of the 3 major titles every year or your out.

I don't either, but then again Beckham was "adamant" about not leaving Old Trafford.

It's what happens when you have "too much" success -- you get complacent and start to think you're OWED all these titles by divine right. Fergie had the same problem in the 2001/02 season, since it was His Retirement, therefore he OBVIOUSLY would win another treble to see him out. Show's what HE knew.

It's also what happened to us, actually -- we believed our own hype. Thankfully we still had an FA Cup to show for it.

It seems like Wenger is an outsider according to reports today. Ferguson's assistant manager Carlos Queiroz looks like he's the number 1 choice.

Two soccernet stories to that effect (i.e. focus is on Queiroz):

Wenger said today that he is "100%" certain that he will be Arsenal's manager next season. In his words, "I have never broken a contract in my life and I don't intend to break this one, which I have two years left on." I definitely believe him and fully expect he'll be at Highbury next year.

As far as Beckham saying he had every intention of staying at Man U, well, that's fine, but they (or rather Fergie) obviously had no intention of keeping him, so there wasn't much of a choice there.

Queiroz? Is that former MetroStars head coach Carlos Queiroz?

Arsene & Arsenal belong together, let them not be torn asunder!

Yes. If I was the MLS I would play that up some how.

CQ to Real is official. So the Arsene exit rumours can cease . . . I hope.

He was never going. He has built the squad and it would be hard for him to leave it.
