I can report that Ze Bill is indeed alive and well. I spoke with him at the USOC game last night. His computer crapped out on him. I blame Bill Gates, Don Garber and Al Qaeda....he blames NASCAR.

I'd like to see the avg. NASCAR fan try to read his works. Don't attack me on that statement because if you are on this board you are not the average NASCAR fan. NASCAR had another hit to the family last night. France Jr.s Son-in-Law was killed when a plane crashed into his house.:(

Wow...I hadn't seen that. You know, it's amazing, with all the private jet travel these NASCAR drivers and owners do that there aren't more accidental deaths.

Personal aircraft (and aircraft in general) are designed a lot more safely nowadays. Aircraft manufacturers have learned from a hundred years of mistakes and are bound to learn even more over the next hundred years.
It's a far cry from the days when Richie Valens and Buddy Holly flew...

you could try and tell them but I doubt they could hear you.:o
If you are from Lubbock or attended Tech you are more likely to die in air accidents: Buddy Holly(resident), John Denver(Tech student), Rick Husband (Tech grad and Capt. of Space Shuttle Columbia) and William McCool (resident and Astronaut on Space Shuttle Columbia).
But we still get our guns up.
