I'm torn. I am a huge Beckham fan but I hate the Galaxy. Am I a trader if I buy the Beckham jersey?

Only if you re sell it or exhange it for other goods.

they do ship English national team kits to America, y'know.

if your response is, "but I'm not an England fan! usa usa usa" my reply is "you're not a Galaxy fan, either!"

"Player" and "Beckham" - yep, that's about the size of it. if I'm Cobi Jones I slip something in his drink.

I really like the shirt, especially the away one.

I like the kits, but I disagree with the fact that you changed them just cause Beckham's coming. One player is not enough to reorganize an entire club.

But I do like the new logo a lot better than your old one.

wait, beckham shows up and you wear real jersies?

yeah, sorry about that. our bad.

edit: ravenrooney and GavinZac's confusion is understandable. let's put this in NFCDR.

I think I've seen some other leaked shots of the new kit. These shots are better than the others though. As for the kits... I am still a fan of the current one, but I must admit that the new kits and colors great... Should have been ready at the beginning of the season though.

You change the kit because you have a terrible, terrible logo and because it is simply too profitable to rebrand and encourage all your fans to buy new merch during the beckham craze. Kits are solid but not as impressive as I'd like....but it is not my team so my opinion is not so important. I have to think they could have done better with the logo.

I actually am an England fan when the US isn't playing them, but I don't like their red jersey and I don't like to pay a lot of money for a pure white jersey that will be ruined with one wrong move (my 2 yr old daughter has already tried to ruin my Dempsey US jersey on many occasions).

I like the blue one, but I don't think I can bring myself to wear a Galaxy jersey. I'll wait until he comes to play for FCD.:)

For what he will mean to the league, I can completely understand someone wanting to have a Beckham jersey. For those who haven't seen all the details, Beckham is going to allow ESPN to basically reintroduce MLS to the US. The business of soccer changes on July 21, 2007.

That being said, I'd expect you'll get some stick if you wear it on the 31st.

It would definetly never make a trip to Frisco. The only person here that will do that is "profiled".

Its a good look. The new logo is miles ahead of the former toilet swirl / typhoon logos used.

The green/teal and gold colors were poorly executed if at least unique.

Yes - they look a lot like Real in some ways - but nonetheless it is a solid, classic look and for a uni that will now become the face of MLS worldwide, it will work well.

That said I will not wear one - but I hope I can sell a lot. :D

P.S. - At least its NOT RED.

So they are wearing white at home?

Striking resemblance to the Real Madrid home kits.

But they would be among the best in MLS

Trader? no. Traitor? yes. Major vagina? yes.
