Anyone know the cheapest place to buy new DVD's online? So far I've only used Amazon.com, but it seems like they are getting more expensive.

I goto deepdiscountdvd.com. They usually have pretty good prices. Don't preorder anything from them because they usually have the DVD's a little bit cheaper about a day or two after it is released. Then it goes up about a week or two later.

They offer free standard shipping and as long as you don't live in Illinois no tax on the purchase as well.

For new mass market stuff, I wait for them to go on sale in the "pre-viewed" bins at various video rental stores. Get some great deals that way, often in the $8 or $9 range.

For older or rarer stuff, you might actually consider Columbia House, as evil as they might be. The new membership deals get you 8 DVDs for about $10 bucks each once you've fulfilled your whole obligation. Just make sure to join online so you have access to their whole catalogue...not just one of those flyers with a handful of hits.

Finally, I think Half.com usually has good deals on just about everything.
