I'm in Suwon, South Korea, perfectly situated for the upcoming U-17 WC.
Suwon hosts 2 matches featuring the home team. I expect a complete zoo. I'll try to go, if they're not already sold out :p
- Sat 08/18: Korea-Peru
- Tue 08/21: Costa Rica-Korea
USA plays its first 2 in Changwon, on the SE coast -- these may be beyond my travel radius. USA's 3rd is in Cheonan, in central Korea -- it's also the last stop on the the local subway line from Seoul through Suwon. In principle, it's just one long subway road trip. That's somebody's daily commute, so I'm sure I can survive it once.
- Mon 08/20: Tajikistan-USA (Changwon)
- Thu 08/23: USA-Tunisia (Changwon) (also Sweden-USA in Goteborg that morning)
- Sun 08/26: Belgium-USA (Cheonan)
I plan to attend the Cheonan game. Any other USA personnel traveling from within Korea?
