I've cleared this with Rick for this to go here, as the Ticket Request thread is getting too jammed with people posting questions everywhere. This just makes it too difficult for Rick to get to the information he needs. Any delay in him getting to the appropriate information may well delay YOU getting tickets, so it is in your interest to post your questions in THIS thread as someone in the know will answer it quicker than Rick will.
First things first, make sure that you've checked out the Arsenal America ticketing query page, which can be found at the following URL:
http://www.arsenalamerica.com/ticketing/
Nine out of ten questions can be answered there, but if you have any further queries please post them in here BEFORE requesting tickets in the main thread.
The basic gist is as follows.
IF YOU WANT TO GET TICKETS, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
1. You must be an ARSENAL supporter (obvious).
2. You must be a PAID and CURRENT Premium member of Arsenal America – at present we are aware the server to pay for membership is down. The procedure for renewing your membership will be posted here in due course.
3. You must make sure you can afford the tickets. The price's are on the Price thread in this forum and the Club Level prices are on the ticket thread. if you are unsure - ASK someone or post here. You must not wait until you receive the PM from Rick asking for payment to say you can't afford it. Your posting on the ticket thread is entering into a contract with Arsenal America that you agree to pay for the tickets.
If you need to query anything about this, or how to go about becoming a member, please post in THIS THREAD.
The PROCEDURE for getting tickets is as follows:
1. Tickets are ONE PER MEMBER. If you have ONE membership, you will get ONE ticket.
2. PM Rick B with a request for tickets. In this request include your USERNAME, which games you want to go to, whether or not you will be able to attend a Champions’ League match, how many tickets you require, and whether you want to be seated in normal or Club level. PLEASE NOTE that if you state you want to attend a Champions League match, you will need to take into consideration that the match may be away from home and you may need to book a flight to a foreign country!
3. Once you have received a reply confirming the booking, post this in the Ticket Request thread. This is so he can access the information easily when needed, and the time comes to order tickets.
If you need to query anything about this procedure, please post in THIS THREAD.
(If you need to edit this as appropriate Rick, please feel free to do so).

I assume the process of first PMing requests to Rick is effective as of now? While Rick was away, we were told to put requests in the Requests thread. The change back to "normal" procedure was never made clear, I don't think.[ I'm sure you can gather that all my requests have been in the thread]

I would assume, since Rick hasn't said anything about PMing him, the procedure for messaging him directly only applies once the first batch of tickets have been ordered.
He will correct me if I'm wrong, I assume. If there was that much problem with posting requests in the main thread he would have said so by now.

RIGHT. Just to confirm a few things:
1. For the moment NO PM's TO BE SENT TO RICK B. Just leave the appropriate details in the thread and this will suffice as your ticket request. From the 17th July PMs may be needed to confirm, but at present just leave the details in the Ticket Request thread and this is all that is required.
2. Club Level, sorry to disappoint you, features no food, but free drinks at half time and obviously the view from the middle tier. No more, no less. They are the same actual seats as well apparently (same as the normal seating) so the only thing you pay extra for is the view and a drink.
This info has come direct from Rick himself, so therefore it is gospel!

When should we expect to pay Rick for the tickets ... and effectively get confirmation that the tickets are "ours"?
I want to make absolutely sure that I get the right amount of money to Rick and do so in plenty of time. Before I leave for London in August I am extremely busy at work and rarely have the time to check the threads -- I just read somewhere that, in addition to posting on the official ticket request thread, I needed to PM Rick. So in a panic I did that. Then I read elsewhere that I should NOT PM Rick. Doh!
Four weeks to go before I leave for England. Hope to square away all my debts soon...

Rick will PM you when he needs the money. If you've listed your request in the thread, and you haven't had any queries from him about it, you can assume that the tickets are yours. ArseAm get a certain allocation and that's why he set a maximum of 10 sets of tickets per game before declaring it "sold out". That way he knows that he can guarantee those 10 people tickets.
It will all be sorted. If you have a personal email address and you can't check the forum, PM it to me and I will email you when any new information or action is required to get you your tickets.

Yo,
I requested tix to the home game vs. Sunderland when it was on Oct. 6. However, the fact that it has changed to the 7th means nothing to me--I'm still going to the game. You think I oughtta let Rick know that the change doesn't affect me? Not that he doesn't have enough to deal with....
(yeah, i worry too much)

No, unless he asks.

On a matchday, how long would it take to get to Paddington from the stadium? And how early would I have to leave the match in order to beat the rush? Like 5 minutes?
The train I'm looking at would leave Paddington at 14:37 with the match kicking off at 12:00.

To Paddington it would be like 25 mins on the tube. And really don't leave early to beat the rush unless you really need to. That is a joke-support the team to the very end unless you absolutely need to get back. After the match go back to the Tavern and have a few more drinks with Rick and the others and after that there won't be any traffic getting into the Tube. I've never left a match early so I don't know the answer to your 2nd question.

I have a flight leaving Cardiff at 6:55pm that day and would have to be on the train I listed in my other post to make it back in time; I would never leave early, but if it's either leave five minutes early or don't go to the match at all, I know which one I would pick. I still really doubt I could pull it off for the Fulham match, but I'm looking at my options.

As is obvious to anyone who's been tracking the requests thread, I've been making a lot of changes. I've already made changes twice, and I'm sure I will make more requests in the future (when Cup schedules come out). Does anyone know how Rick prefers to receive these changes? I keep quoting myself to make it easier to clarify my changes, but I'm not sure if this is actually helpful.
I feel really bad making all of these adjustments, but as I'll be in England for the entire season, they're somewhat inevitable. Thanks for any help.

I'd say as long as you keep quoting he can at least go back through the thread and delete your old posts. Just keep doing what you're doing and if there's a problem he will say. So far there's not so you're doing the right thing.

Where do you sign up for premium membership? I've been looking and looking and there's nothing.

Nothing's been sorted as far as I know as that part of the site has not been reopened. It will either be via the site or via PayPal, HighburyGoon or one of the others will let you know when it's decided.

Question about seeing the game in Liverpool. Not a ticket request yet but curious about getting to the game from London. Whats the best option? Can it be a day trip? Or should I plan on spending a night or two there? Is train the best way to get there?

This is not an official reply, but I think 1) Arsenal Travel Club usually runs a coach service. Not the most comfortable ride, but not too bad. 2) There should be trains to Liverpool but with limited service on a Sunday it might be tough getting back to London that night. If I recall, Anfield is a fair hike from the train station, as well. If nothing's going on on the Monday, it might be worth it to just stay the night.

If I take an overnighter that lands in London around 9am, its ample time to make it to a 3pm kickoff yeah? Of course including time to meet up with Rick and getting him a couple (dozen) beers. (Which, btw, Rick, hoping to contact you soon regarding tix!)
