View Full Version : Arsenal Tickets - Questions and Queries thread

Good evening. I have some questions and queries, but I inadvertently posted them in the other thread. Sorry, Rick. An honest mistake. I removed the offending text, so please do what you must. However, I hope that this error does not jeopardise my standing.
Anyway, Rick informed me that he will request payment for an Arsenal-Man City August 25 ticket from me today. However, I have yet to receive a request. I was wondering if I did something I was not supposed to, or if Rick needs more information from me, or if there were another reason for the delay.
Also, I now have a flight to London (which was viewable in the brief time that the post was in the other thread). I would like to know if Rick would like that information now, or if he noted it before I took it down.
Once again, I thank everyone for their assistance here. I apologise for my slip-ups. They seem to happen fairly often. :(
Sincerely,
Eric Gittleman (Gittle)

It does indeed jeopardise your standing. It means you owe Rick more beer when you meet him. In fatc you have to buy 3 rounds to start off the drinking. ;)
Rick has been busy and you best bet is to wait for him to contact you. So don't panick. Breathe in and breathe out.
And also try to read the whole thread next time as your question(s) might have already been answered.
Reason is I haven't yet been charged by the club for some of the tickets so therefore don't know the price bracket. Really am not sure what to do. Everyone will get tickets but I think (and I spoke with Andrew about this last week) we might have to start just charging at the higher bracket and then refunding if we get charged less, when we get charged. Can't see any other way. Many other clubs do it by people sending blank cheques which is just not possible for us. Guess it's a con of our success

Been monitoring the request thread for a few days.
My wife and I are going to be in London from the 28th of Dec through the 3rd of Jan and we really want to catch a match while there.
Why hasn't anyone requested West Ham on New Years Day?
I'm guessing since it's a mid-week match, everyone's hungover and it's negative 15 degrees are probably the top reasons.

To be honest I don't often get requests for New Years Day. I can get tickets the same as any other game, if you want to go thats fine - just request as normal.

You do realise that if you are the only one going to west Ham you will have a serious hangover on your birthday don't you? Just checking. :)

Just to make sure. I'll receive a PM when my payment is due right?

PM's are done per game not request so for those like yourself who have requested a few games you will get a PM per game. At the moment I have only just sent PM's for Man City this afternoon so you can see that at the start of the season we are a little behind. We haven't been charged for any other games yet so when we are PM's will be sent.

Hey everyone!
I was just wondering if anyone knew when they are releasing the TV schedules for the Arsenal fixtures that are after Nov. 30th?
Arsenal.com announced all the fixture changes (due to TV schedules) through November 30th, but I was just curious if there is a set date for when the December fixtures will be finalized.
The game I am interested in, for example, is the Chelsea game on Dec. 15th. Worst case it would only be moved to sunday the 16th due to TV schedules, right? (obviously weather or other reasons could change the date as well)
Thanks!

Weather will not move the fixture.
I have contantly said many times that any game can be played any time between 12pm on the Saturday and 8pm on the Monday of the weekend it is scheduled for. With big games like Chelsea it is unlikely that we will play Monday. In fact it is very likely that we will play on the Sunday at either 2pm or 4pm.

Getting my wife pissed (the English way) is going to be the challenge. She likes Mexican and German Wheat beers and is more inclined to over-eat at a sporting event than over-drink.
