What the hell are the Wizards doing in the "Champions" Cup? They just went down on the Mexican team "Morelia", 6 goals to 1. This sort of ankle-grab is amazing. It being the best of two games, we expected "Bunker Bob" Gansler to go looking for a tie, which he did for the first 66 minutes, even though the Mexicans were firing shots off like a gattling gun at Fat Tony Mazola.

The PRIDE of the Wizards? The nuts at MLS should be flogged for mentioning "pride" and "Wizards" in the same breath.

Lemme get this straight - they couldn't get their foreign star in the country because of a paperwork ********-up, and Quill and Gomez were stupid enough to eat the food in Mexico the day before the game? My God, who the hell is in charge of this idiotic club? Did they send Lucid as interim coach? "Dudes, let's go to the Donkey Bar the night before the game, and get tequila and REAL Mexican food, complete with REAL Mexican amoebas!"

Of course, that famous idiotic, jersey-tugging hack, Nick Garcia saw it fit to get a red card in the 91st minute, when Morelia was up 6-1, so he'll sit the bench back in KC. That's probably a blessing, since he and Mike Burns were gang-raped by the Morelian forwards.

Hey all, I wanted to express my feelings about the rest of MLS' absolutely DISMAL performances this year in the FC Champion's Cup. I mean, what's up with these losers (San Jose, Chicago, Kansas City) getting their butts kicked in this competition? What ever happened to the belief that MLS teams are the class of our Confederation? Why the hell isn't the Galaxy cleaning house in the Cup this year? Seems to me that ultimately, the Galaxy is the best team in MLS 'cause we absolutely love to kick foreign teams' a$$es, don't we? A la Necaxa, Cruz Azul, Chivas, Olimpia, etc... All left in our wake of destruction. It makes me sick seeing all our fellow MLS teams losing like that in this competition when I know that the G's would be winning, repeating our championship form from last year (something I believe would have helped our regular season form in the long run as well). Anyway, anyone else as disgusted as I am about this? Oh well, at least we'll have the luxury of seeing the Galaxy at the NTC next year, repeating as FC Club Champs!!! Discuss...

Last time I checked the Wizards got the furthest out of any other MLS team in this competition. I'd rather lose in the semi's 6-1 on the first leg than lose in the first round like defending champions San Jose did I believe, or losing in the quarters like Chicago did.

A fair point, but after reflecting on it, I respectfully disagree. I would rather go out one round earlier pressing forward for a potential series tying goal in front of a good crowd with 6-7 starters missing from the line up.

Particularaly if the alternative is advancing one round only to have your collective faces rubbed in stale Mexican feces to compliment the urine bombs raining down from a bunch of @$$holes who will try to claim that our nats are a fluke based on the powder blue bent over rainbow wearing gringos that let in SIX gols in a half hour while searching for pathetic and feeble excuses about one guys paperwork as if your little "Igor" would have made a rats ass worth of difference.
