The flip side to MLS parity (assuming people like this to begin with) is that we will suffer at international competitions.

Crew 4 - 0 Whizzzzzz

You guys are elevating sucking to an art form.

You are the poster boys for sucking.

You give sucking a bad name.

Sucking just caught the bus OOT because he didn't want to be seen in public with you guys

If you guys sucked any more, your heads would collapse

Tracy Lords is in KC this morning taking sucking lessons

The Hoover people are sending out engineers to check into this ultimate level of suckination

Black holes all over the universe are pledging to try harder to equal your sucking power.

"And the Academy Award for suckitude goes to...."

You guys, like, really suck.

DC United, 1998 Champions of the Americas
Los Angeles Galaxy, 2001 Champions of North America, and it might have been more but Boca and Real ran from us like scared little ants

Great job against Morelia, guys.

You really showed 'em who was boss! You were playing for pride and... and... well, you didn't get what you were hoping for, but at least you made MLS look like a joke. You had to score 5 or 6 goals, but you got.... eh... ONE. Nice. Maybe you could have used Andrew Shue on the pitch.

Excuses?

Bueller?

Bueller?

KC should be nuked, trust me, no one would even notice.

Dickheads.

This from Chris Klein:

"At halftime we talked about getting a goal and not allowing them another one. For us, that was a victory."

Way to shoot for the f'kin stars there Sparky. I'm sure I speak for all MLS fans in saying congrats on a job well done. You made us all so very proud.

"At halftime we talked about getting a goal and not allowing them another one. For us, that was a victory." Chris Klein

Who the hell does Chris Klein think he's playing?

Their not Manchester United you pathetic loser, Jesus, have some ***************ing pride!

New MLS rule, K.C. will never represent the MLS in any international competition ever again.

New MLS rule #2, Chris Klein will have to wear a strap on over his vaginia so no one will have to smell the stench of his dirty **********.

Sorry Chris, I get upset when we lose to peice of $hite FMF teams, and we better not hear any $hite from San Jose either.

Pathetic

They DID have two guys tossed in the first half. Including Klein, which explains why his groping for moral victories was into the ultraviolet by that point.

The other Skittle red-carded was Mike Burns, though, so you have to wonder why the Lizards didn't actually play better after that.

We've explained this before, haven't we? What have DC, Chicago, Kansas City, and San Jose all accomplished, but no other MLS team has done? The Champion's Cup is only open to CHAMPIONS. It's right there in the title, it should be pretty obvious.

It is pretty obvious: Los Angeles is both the reigning US Open champion & Champion's Cup champion. I guess the tournament isn't open to all champions.

Fat Jack from Trinidad and his boys really know how to run a tournament, don't they? They're trying to model this tournament after the UEFA Champion's League, yet the tournament doesn't hold a spot for the reigning champion?

I like how you guys think that scoring 6 goals, in a game where the other team knows you need to score 6 goals, is even a possible task. Many teams (Chicago at MLS Cup '00 for example) couldn't even score one goal when their title hopes depended on it. It's not possible. I don't think anyone who has more that three braincells (which collectively you four might have) went into that game thinking the Wizards were still in the CCC. We were eliminated last game, and the 2nd leg was just an exhibition.

And about Klein's quote, sure it's easy to rip on him for saying that, but if you are playing a team who just got done thrashing you 6-1, ending the game 1-1 is definately a victory.

And about "K.C. will never represent the MLS in any international competition ever again." I'd rather get hammered in the thrid round, versus being the league champion and getting ousted in the first round, or being Chicago, and losing in the second round.

...or worst of all be dc under any circumstances.

They were stopmped by a team that was stomped by a team that lost to a team that is in the final. Undestandable as dc was busy not playing the USOC and racking up losses in the league.
