I'm suprised the Aussies don't have a day off. They do on the Queens birthday.

Yep I'm surrounded by revolting colonials. Who are always amazed that Thanksgiving isnt celebrated in Europe. I'm currently working on a committee of History teachers, out of whom only one was aware that there were Canadians at Normandy on D-Day.

I just saw the HMS Manchester is docked across the Hudson in NYC. I plan on keeping a close eye on them tonight.

Apparently the Taleban. :(

Anyway Happy Revolution Day to all my American neighbours. (That's neighbors spelled correctly, in case you're wondering). :p

A few years ago, there was a large NATO exercise in the North Sea.. All the ships docked, for a visit, in Oslo.
The US always ties up beside the Royal Navy. (Because our ships are not dry and they like the odd G&T)
The next morning they hung a large banner alongside their ship, that read.
US NAVY::::SECOND TO NONE.:)
12 hours later a large banner was hung alongside the Royal Navy ship.....
ROYAL NAVY;;;;;;;;;NONE.:p :D

I was lucky enough to be asked to play on both ships and had a great time.
