Sheff.Utd have filed an appeal to the High Court ,claiming that the Arbitration Commission failed to make a correct recommendation to the Premier League!

I doubt they'll give up until every and any available potential legal remedy is exhausted, because after all, 50 million pounds is at stake for them! Their problem is, that they don't have a chance in hell of prevailing! This is not a civil law suit, but a complaint about the internal decision of a private
organisation. If they're not careful, the League might well respond with penalties against Sheff.Utd for blatantly failing to comply with the rules of the organisation that they have agreed to follow and abide by like all the other clubs. I wish they would!

I think Sheff Utd will have more to worry about than just the league going after them. From memory FIFA has strict rules about cases being dealt with in the court system and have barred some countries from the World Cup because of it. Can you imagine how the big 4 clubs would react if they realise they might be barred from the Champions Cup?

Too bad they didn't show this level of determination back in May against Wigan.

On the official site we do explain our position http://www.sufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10418~1067977,00.html (http://www.sufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10418%7E1067977,00.html)
so we are not appealing yet but then according to all the articles I see on http://www.hammersheadlines.com (http://www.hammersheadlines.com/) we are appealing.

Seemingly we will just not give up. I really wish Terry Robinson and the lads would just give up at this point...enough already!

Surprising decision, I must say... Don't these people realize they are playing with fire? Would be a shame for the fans if the club would have to suffer because of their stubbornness...

If Sheff Utd's actions turn out to be the cause of all English clubs being banned from next season's CL then the clubs in question could seek compensation from Sheff Utd. Then they are seriously in the doo doo.

It's sad what this is doing to the fans and football in general. For everyone's sake I think someone needs to bring the hammer down on all this and put these guys in there place. They don't own the game and they need to learn to honour their agreements with the PL and respect the PL's judgement.

BTW does anyone know what the latest is with the PL's investigations into the Kabba affair?
