Mario Bolatti is a central (defensive) midfielder. In my opinion, he was the most influential Belgrano player and one of the revelations of the Apertura 06 (if player ratings are anything to go by, he was better rated than the overhyped Gago according to OLE). If you want to compare with other Argentine midfielders I would say that he has things from Mascherano (although not as good in the tackling department) and from Gago (althogh not as good in the passing). He has things of both. I think he has a lot of potential to develop his playmaking and passing abilities. Finally, and I think this speaks by itself, he made life very difficult for such legendary players as Kily Gonzalez (made him to be sent off) and Veron.

very good young dm, crucial to belgrano, i think that he will get snatched by a big team, he has some growing to do but he is quickly beacoming a beast on the field.
