Shhhh--do not disturb, principled stand for free speech in progress.

Andy, here's an idea--when you're done with insulting our flag, go ahead and do it to the Argentine flag, or maybe change your avatar to a picture of Calvin pissing on the Koran.

I realize you're making some sort of statement, but really, it's just a wind-up and provocation, with no other aim than for you to pat yourself on the back. I realize you have the right to do it--free speech--but I'll exercise my free speech and label it as a jackass move.

As a side note, I enjoy the rest of your posts and photos, so it's nothing personal.

PS--my apologies, if you are in fact posting from a sinking ship on the open seas. If you are PM me and I'll alert the Coast Guard/Navy.

You know, I used to think Andy had good sense.

But between the avatar deal and the fact that the pictures aren't showing up, added to the fact that this is now at the top of BigSoccer's Home Page makes this a really banner ay for him.

Personally, I think it's not really Andy; I think he's being held hostage by internet-incompetent Canadians who are demanding to be able to see a doctor in less than six months.

Obviously, Andy's photos are being censored by the Bush Administration and so his avatar is perfectly understandable.

That or it reflects that our national team really is in trouble with no scorers.

That's what I get for posting from an airport.

My avatar has been like that over a week - and I've started previous threads here - with only one comment.

I did post photos, I'm not sure why they're not appearing.

Ah, instead of uploading into the root directory, the folder got put into a subfolder. grrr.

Images should be appearing now.

Don't worry, my avatar isn't meant as any insult. But it -has- been that way for over a week. Thanks for noticing! Don't worry, I'll be changing it later this evening.

There probably is nothing wrong with it at all... but my time on the east coast taught me that some people in the US have no problem insulting others, but anything short of praise for the US is taken with great offense.
