My opinion on what hugo should do for this next game is simple
rest players who need to be rested and play those who havent
played like say the olderguys

id like to see these guys play

jose antonio castro
Blanco
Bofo...
Ochoa
Omar Bravo

and maybe id like to see Castillo if hes fit but if he needs some rest then they should resdt him i kind of dont want to see Guardado because id rather he get healthy first

I would like to see Landin play at least some of the game.

Well according to the press Hugo Sanchez would be indeed resting some players, it isn't clear yet which players won't play, but for sure the guys with yellow cards won't see any action on this one, I only remember Nery Castillo, but there must be at least a couple more players with yellows, also Hugo seems to be willing to give playing time to the guys like Blanco, Bravo and some other fellas that haven't played or at least not as much as they expected.

El empate le asegura a México el 1er lugar del grupo, y a Chile la clasificación (aunque incluso perdiendo, si Brasil gana o empata también clasificamos).

Firmemos el empate y pa'la casa;)

Do you think Chile stands a chance tomorrow?:D

Don't get such an ego about your Mexican team. You guys looked World Class against Guadeloupe in the Gold Cup struggling to win 1-0. Just because you guys beat Brazil 2-0 doesn't mean you'll have such an easy time against a team that lost to them 3-0. If Brazil could've finished in that game it probably would've been 4-2 Brazil. Anyway..I expect a good game tomorrow with Chile coming out on top 2-1. Chile basically just needs to tie though to move on.

I think you didn't understand what I wrote: we just need 1 point, or even loosing we will advance.

But answering your question, without Jorge Vargas, Mark González and Matías Fernández, we have more options to win than with them on the field.:)

So, Mexico finishes first with a tie, and Chile advances with a tie. Maybe they shouldn't even play. I know teams have to play it smart, but I hope we won't see another dull match like Venezuela-Uruguay.

If Mexico could've finished some plays in that game it would've been 5-0 Mexico.

Just throwing that out there.

that's what I'm thinking. Actually depending on how it goes it could be a good game for Chile though because I think someone mentioned that Mexico is actually in a better spot if we lose 2-0, so I'm curious to see how many players Hugo will be sitting.

Guys don't fall for Mosco's trolling. He is our 'ilovecolombia', just a little more childish and innocent.

Good luck today!

Castillo is obviously going to be out of this game, but not because he needs rest, but because of yellow card trouble. Expect mostly bench to be in the game and unfortunately I wouldn't be surprised if Chile got a win by 2 or more goals because Mexico will play mostly subs while Chile desperately needs to win. Hopefully Mexico comes through and bring it against Argentina!

Metro or Jaime,

What is the word on Valdivia, Navia, and Riffo? Will they be back in the next round, if Chile moves on? I was just reading an article saying that they were all injured. And while I knew about Navia and Riffo, I didn't know that Valdivia was out. Who can Chile expect to have back in the line-up next round if they move on?

You kidding me? We have enough talent on the bench to match Chile. No way will we lose by 'more than two goals'. You are out of your mind my friend.
